Can't blame the man for wanting to play, if he leaves which seems likely I wish him the very best of luck.......but damn we do need him lol.

Really like him as a person and a footballer.
We probably should be rotating more to keep guys like him happy but it's really hard the way the team are playing at the moment.
Bolton at home this weekend would be a good opportunity IMO.
Vedran Corluka eyes Spurs exit | Mail Online
Vedran Corluka is planning to leave Tottenham after losing his place to rising star Kyle Walker.
Croatia defender Corluka admits that 21-year-old Walker deserves his place in Harry Redknapp’s team, but is not prepared to sit in reserve in the run-up to next summer’s European Championship.
Corluka, who has seen his attempts to win back a place hampered by a chronic achilles injury, said: ‘Walker got the nod and there’s no question he is a good player who justifies his place.
‘Redknapp chose Walker and doesn’t see me in the defence, so it is logical to sit round the table and agree an amicable farewell. I will talk to people in the next few days.
‘I don’t have the will again to wait months for a chance, to fight for a position when I see that the coach has other ideas.’
The 25-year-old has started just one Barclays Premier League game this season, but has been used by Redknapp in the Carling Cup and Europa League.
Walker, who spent last season on loan at Queen’s Park Rangers and Aston Villa, staked a claim to be England’s first-choice right back by winning his first England caps against Spain and Sweden earlier this month.

Leader of the Spurtles.
As far as I know him and Modders are best friends.. Would be a shame if they had to split up
Hasn't been fit has he? Things can change so quickly think he's been a bit short sighted. Hope he's not another player who thinks he can go on the cheap. Still think he's a top full back and wouldn't look out of place at any top European team.
We can't let him leave, he's the key to keeping Modric happy.

*Waits for local Croatians to go ape-shit-crazy*
All I can say is what a shame, he adds depth and a different style to Walker, but if he wants out of an improving team, good luck to him if he wants to play in the 1st team down at Wigan or some half-arsed European team!
If Charlie leaves we go from having too many RBs to not enough. He has been hurt, that is why he hasn't been playing. Harry needs to do what needs to be done to keep him. Important player for us.

he hasnt been fit so walker has come in and done really well. He will have to wait for his chance in one of the cups or if walker gets injured. This is part of football, especially when playing for one of the best teams in your league.
Man up Charlie!!
Was expecting this to come out and I'm not surprised but I dont agree with rotating every few games to keep players happy, especially ones who have been injured for most of the season. Until Walker starts to have a poor run of form thats the only reason I'd replace him. Sure, there are certain games for Charlie to play in but football is about getting results more than anything else.
I also dont agree that we need to keep him around to keep Modric happy, they're grown men I'm sure they can cope.
We could also get a good price for Charlie, and we do have 2 young RBs besides Walker in Naughton and Adam Smith so maybe the club feel that those two could be the "reserve" RB for us. Otherwise, we'd most likely find a cheap RB that has a bit of experience.

I didn't expect that from him, I always thought he'd be a player that'd just get his head down and earn his place, I'm dissapointed in the chap to be honest, sort it out charlie, moaning isn't going to get you you place back! It'd be a shame to see him go
I've always thought he was a tremendously under-rated RB. He may not get forward very often, but he's great as a defender. Harry needs to rotate the squad more unless we want to burn out like we did at the end of last season.

I'd like to keep him, but couldn't blame him if he wanted to move on.
