I don't want to get anyone's hopes up - I haven't seen rumors of this out there. However, if there's even a chance he leaves Lille before the window shuts, I think Levy would be insane not to take a shot at sniping him from Arsenal. As we all know, competition for Lennon on the right side is right up there on our list of needs, and this kid looks like he's going to be a superstar. If Levy is serious about moving upward and onward, we need to be in the mix for players of this caliber.

Lille hierarchy are as adamant about not letting him go as we have been with Luka. Which probably means he is going to be very tough or expensive to get. No doubt every top club has had a look at him but I would be shocked if we somehow pulled it off.
He's not signing for us, I feel pretty safe saying that.
P.S. He can play both wings and in the hole but he's much stronger on the LW.
We wont need him we will sign Hulk before tomorrow night.

I was under the impression that the club rejected an offer Arsenal made, not that the player rejected a move to the club. It's not like Arsenal looks like a much better destination than us at this point anyway. We have the stronger midfield for him to join.
During last season he brushed aside the Arsenal rumors, he's never seemed to keen on Arsenal, or the Premiership to be honest. If he really wanted to go he could have pushed for a move away like Gervinho, doubt he'll do so in the last two days of the window. Comments he's made suggest he's genuinely interested in being part of the Lille project for one more year.
Argh, this is not transfer news.
I saw it in the transfer news section and thought we were in for him....
