With Spurs going out of the UEFA Cup on Wednesday, assistant manager Gus Poyet said afterwards
“We are going to begin building for next season starting on Sunday at Manchester City"
      . From FansFC.com

Over the last few weeks Spurs have again been linked with a host of potential transfer targets for the summer, with the likes of Sulley Muntari, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, Xabi Alonso, Diego Milito, Cata Diaz and Carlos Kameni, to name but a few.

Ramos is looking to rebuild his squad to his liking and with some of the current squad putting in poor performances, it could be that he will transfer list a number of players to balance the squad. It has been reported that Ramos has a list of about 7-10 'first team' players that he will be keeping an eye on during the remaining weeks of the season. Players like Robinson (inconsistant), Lennon (personally i would keep him), Lee Young-Pyo, Chimbonda, Bent (doesn't seem to be the same player as he was at Charlton - too negative), Boateng, Rocha.

I personally feel that we need to bring in a goalkeeper, another quality centre defender (Ramos doesn't think King can play more than 1 game a week), a left winger (the likes of Pederson, Downing :27, a central midfielder (Alonso would be quality, but will he come to us), and a replacement for Bent (we should have kept Defoe).

I would like to know ur opinions on who we should be looking to get during the summer transfer window (realistic answers please :5: ).

      COME ON YOU SPURS!!

      I can't think of just 1 place.

We need a keeper to challange Robbo as you said he's inconsistent.

We need a CB unless King and Woodgate are both gonna stay fit...

We need a left winger or left back depending on where Bale goes when he's fit unless Gilberto settles a bit better by the summer (I know he's only played a couple of games, I'm willing to give him time)

We need an attacking midfielder who can get the ball to our forwards, whether it's left, right or center doesn't bother me. And preferably can pick out a player with a free kick/corner.

We need another striker but one who's happy to sit on the bench, unless Peckhart is ready, I really don't know but have heard it mentioned on here before.

I can't really list names for those positions as I don't pay much attention to the rest of the world :5:

Added: I voted center midfield as this area needs a quality player the most in my opinion.

      .
I'm glad I am not the only one that thinks our team isnt capable of passing wind from a dead ball situation.

The Hud is attrocious, and it is unforgivable. No pressure, all the time in the world and they never seem to beat the first man. JJ is no better. How many goals did Man U get through a David beckham delivery when he played for them?

Is there anywhere geeky enough on the web to look at stats like that? How many crosses, free kicks etc?

Agreed on Essien, he's a dirty horible barsteward

Carrick going to Newcastle, that would be going backwards bigtime!!!! He could do a job for us still, but we wouldnt be spending half what we sold him for I would immagine. Scandle if we did.

I Think we should get PSV keeper Gomes
A real soild keeper Looks better than the espanyol one aswell

We need another Centre back just incase of injury Maybe althletico Madrids defender Pablo ??

Winger Morten Gamst please, better than downing and can take Free Kicks and corners

Striker if Berbatov Goes Klaas Jan Huntelaar but saying that Man U have showen interest in the Ajax Striker

Cannot wait to See Luka Modric In Action This Guy Looks Absolutly Brilliant

We need another central defender because Kaboul will go and i think Newcastle's Taylor is a good option
We should get a left winger and Pedersen or Nihat are excellent options
if Berba go Eto'o is the best replacement
Sometimes i can take this place, Sometimes is my life i can taste, Sometimes i can't feel my face, you never see me fall from grace!!!

Did Ajax get relagated, or did i dream that?

Huntalaar would be a snip if they did, and they would posibly have a few young gems as they usually do.

We should sing "A Midfield" for next season. it may help in nit finishing in mid table again.
