With the amount of attacking midfielders Real has shipped in. I believe they will be willing to offload Van Der Vaart.
I've read that Schalke 04 are interested in his services and I was just wondering if we could get us a Sneijder in him. JUST A THOUGHT

Diarra is the most likely to come to us out of any player at RM at the moment.

I like him, but we don't need another attacking midfielder... that is our strongest position.
No thanks, would rather spend my pennies on Lass. We got us a basket of attacking midfield talent already.
I too would rather have Diarra! A few years ago there was rumors of us going in for Van Der Vaart and i would've bit their hand off to sign him. Always appreciated him as a brilliant player, underrated by many but as i said, i'd rather have Diarra!!!

Awesome player, probably doesn't fit with what we are trying to do right now. Diarra is the player that fits us best in the midfield at the moment.
Don't see how diarra fits us right now when we have palacious and sandro in the exact same position. Along with Ohara jeans thudd modric in the middle
Diarra provides an experienced defensive midfielder who can step in and control the midfield right now. The idea would be to play him with boy THudd and Modric. His ball-winning and distribution prowess would give the two others more license to go forward creatively. This would be if Arry institutes his 4-5-1 play and lands a striker who can hold his own on top by himself.

Players like Palacios, Jenas and O'hara good enough for champions league? Nah they ain't and Diarra is 10x the player Palacios is...Wilson is a joke atm and i want him replaced ASAP. Everytime he gets the ball i sh1t myself incase he does a suicide crossfield pass to the opposition striker!!! He doesn't realise his role is to play a simple ball, get the tackles in, be a ball winning midfield general...he does none of them things. He thinks he can beat players?!?! Diarra would be a godsend!
