Would be an amazing signing but really want to be hearing more of the effort being put into finding a striker rather than another midfielder.

I've been hoping for a striker, but Diarra is one of my favorite players in the world to watch so I would be ECSTATIC if Arry can pull this one off. He would be great for us and in pushing everyone else down a peg, really give us the squad depth we crave.

This would be a massive signing for us. A steal too when you compare his price tag to that Manchester City paid for Yaya Toure. Is Toure 3 times the player Lass is? Yaya may be better, but definitely not by that much.

It really pisses me off that this time last year, Palacios was gods gift to defensive midfielders, and now, nearly all of you are writing him off. Every player has a bad run of form, and I think his started when Redknapp told him to stop getting booked. I say, play your game, get booked if you have to, and get suspended because of it. That way, we make use of the 110% Palacios, and he gets his regular rest, and also gives other players like Sandro, etc a run in the team when he is suspended. No point running around being scared of 50-50 tackles.
Just let Palacios play his game, and he is TOP CLASS!

Someone else said it somewhere, but I will second it
Diarra is a all around defensive midfielder, in that he stops plays like Pal but unlike Pal he can actually hit a pass to a teammate
Pal is a wonderful box to box midfielder, always running, always giving 100% on tackles, and stopping plays. But when he gets the ball he is simlat to zokora in that he looks like a headless chicken with the ball at his feet!!!
I do love Pal though, and I can see us playing with both Diarra and Pal agaibst tought physical teams when we need some backbone

lass diarra may be a good signing but i think we are in no need of another midfielder really, with sandro coming i really see no reason why to spend the money on a midfielder when we need a top striker
