Sky Sports | Football | Premier League | News | Given - Loan switch possible big rumours hes going to the scum if he doesnt start against us on saturday.given is well known over here for wanting to play every game no matter what.we have lost a keepers over the years because he kicks up a fuss even if hes left out of a friendily,he even rushes back from injury quick so that the back up keepers dont get a look in.joe hart came out last week saying he wants out if he doesnt start for city this season, and now given is saying the same, and itk sources{yeah right} here say the peado is lining him up for a loan move.i really rate given and he would improve the scum imo,so im hoping he starts against us in a weird sort of way
This isn't the best news to be honest. if Given goes out on loan, Joe Hart will be City's #1. Arsenal fcuked up last season because Almunia and Fabianksi are Clowns in disguise. So if this does happen, Arsenal may lengthen the gap between the top 3 and 4th. But it's good news for England in that Joe Hart will be given first team starts.
Why on earth would they loan out Given and let Joe Hart start? Way beyond me if this goes through.
thats why i hope given plays at least till the transfer window closes, city have said hart wont be loaned out again so if he wants out someone will have to buy him.im really worried because ive never seen given talking like this,so im guessing he might know already who is starting sat.
Would make sense seeing as Given has body hair and we all know Wenger doesn't like that![]()
Given is a 10 point a season goal keeper.
Add that to the Goons total points from last season and what have got..................?
Title contenders.............
I agree, Chamakh also looks like a good player for them, they can very well challenge for the league this year.
We'll find out this season if he's worth much, my prediction is 8-12 goals nothing special for Chamakh. Don't think the Scum will be league challengers this year, they'll fall away like they do every year.
But to save this thread from being hijacked off topic, I hope Given doesn't go to them. Nothing I like seeing more than Fabianski screwing up.
Have a sinking feeling that this will happen (as much as I'd hate to say it).....But Citeh must know the quality that is Shay Given and to send him to one of their rivals would be plain stupid. I think mark schwarzer might be another possibility even though they have had offers rejected for him by Fulham.
Given is undoubtably one of the best keepers in the world but the fantastic saves i'v seen him make are from shots which are at him. Great shot stopper but not the best in other areas.
