855.JPG Button loan to Plymouth
03 August 2010
David Button has joined League One side Plymouth Argyle on a season-long loan.
The young goalkeeper made his first-team debut in the Carling Cup last season and enjoyed successful loan spells at Crewe and Shrewsbury.
He made 26 appearances for Shrewsbury and won praise for his performances at New Meadow.
A product of our Academy system, David has been capped by England at Under-19 and
20 levels and has previously been on loan at Grays, AFC Bournemouth, Luton and Dagenham & Redbridge.
Sweet, maybe I'll go and watch him play seeing as I live in Plymouth lol.
I haven't read the other posts but this can only mean one thing...Pletikosa, in?
Maybe this is the one move that Harry mentioned which will open the flood gates.... hahaha![]()
Yep it basically confirms the stipe deal
Bump
Reading that he has a bad injury to his ankle (September 15) as i havent seen him in the team since the first couple games of the season. Seems like he was performing well for them before he got injured, rumour that Alnwick may go there as its said on there Button will be our for awhile.
Steven Caulker is the messiah!
