It just occured to me the other day. It can't be physically be easy running around negoticating, selling, closing deals, etc and then looking after day to day stuff on the training ground. You need a good team around. Then the chairman has to be invovled. Look at all the work he 'Arry put in with Joe Cole..?

Do you honestly believe that?These in the knows make me laugh as they are usually just normal fans who put two and two together and make four.Unless you speak to harry,joe jordan or clive allen direct you will never know nothing so although these itk threads are a good read they should be taken with a pinch of salt.Harry is open anyway and tells the media most things unlike wenger,fergie etc so he tells you everything going on anyway.He has said this summer on tv or radio he likes fabiano,parker,forlan,bellamy,cole,suarez and cavani so anyone can use this as that is factual information. The reality is he wanted cole and felt he had him and was let down badly reading between the lines.He likes bellamy as stated by the man himself many times and is waiting on man city with the milner deal.And on the forwards forlan,suarez and fabiano are yet to move so fingers crossed on one shortly.Maybe suarez is the man and they have agreed with ajax to wait until their qualifier is over this coming week?

My one concern though is he has mentioned his interest a month ago for these top forward players who cost a bomb but last week started talking about loans and spending very little money.Maybe a smokescreen but if not what has happened since the world cup to drastically change the budget?.With bentley and jj injured they may have been players that would have raised cash so this may screw us as well.Let's review this next weekend and if still no sign of new players we may have to worry.

Glosyid- I take most with a pinch of salt but there are a couple who have a good track record of being truthful with what they have said. I like reading up on it but along with Smithy I can see the "big" purchases coming at the end of the window.
