Spurs not signing a single player before the start of the EPL season?

I have an awful gut feeling Harry wont spend a penny and we will start the season with a injury crisis yet again in the back 4 and a strike force that were less than impressive toward the end of last season.

We all know where we need players to come in and we have been linked with every single player in Europe and yet nothing...............absolutely nothing.

I am starting to get a bit unsettled with all this inactivity and i can see us doing another Ramos by signing players in a hurry with 2 days to go.

Why is Jenas still here? Is Pav staying? Keano? Bentley? the players who were supposed to be offloaded to supply us with a sizeable transfer kitty. Why are they still at the club?

Who are we signing? When? for how much? Are we finally going to retire Woody? Will we get another CB or just rely on the bare bones of our ar5es again like last season? Will these players have time to settle? etc, etc, etc.............NO ANSWERS!!!

Spurs have never been shy to announce interest in players, although i am aware Citeh will attempt to sign any player who blinks at the moment so we are being cautious. The trouble is we can be over cautious and lose good players to random teams. Kjaer is a prime example. He is an excellent young CB who went to Wolfsburg for no apparent reason other than no other interest was established and Palermo wanted to sell.
Nice one Spurs.
Joe Cole is another player we missed out on because of money but if we had moved sooner and never allowed the dippers a sniff he would be ours now, even Harry said so.

14 days to go...I say possibly. But don't expect a BIG name, possibly Pietkosa ON LOAN and Bellamy ON LOAN...

i reckon harry has his sights on a few of citehs rejects, mainly bellamy, richards and maybe ireland and is playing the waiting game cause he knows they need to ship players out before they name there 25 so the longer he waits the cheaper he may get them......it may very well back fire and we end up with fook all but that may be a chance harry and levy are willing to take to save a few bob!

dont be suyrprised if santa cruz is a posible mover as a target man as well!

That back four injury crisis last season got us to 1st in the table.

But it left us in deep doodoo when we were in 2 cup comps and pushing for 4th place. We had no Corluka, King, Woody, BAE (AfricanCup) for long periods of last season and loaned out Hutton, Naughton and Walker leaving us with Bale, Dawson, Bassong as our only recognised defenders and only got some respite in January when we signed Kaboul. We definately need to make a decision on Woody and King and buy a reliable CB. The CL is too important to feck it up now by not shoring up our battered defense.

However I do feel your pain, transfer activity at the Lane isn't what it was in years past. 'Arry really needs to pull his finger out soon

We need a centerback that is obvious. I'm sure 'Arry and Mr Levy and working the contacts. But Man City have change everything. It seems it doesn't matter what any clubs say, they just hold out for City to bid for the top players first. This is new for everybody. We have a plan B.

I like the look of Per Mertesacker or Hangeland they defend well and can play from the back, which the top teams do. If the transfer stuff doesn't happen now, we are still good enough in the squad to make it to the CL group stages and run to the top of the PL and hold.

The Goons want Mertesacker and i agree with you on Hangelaand but just admiring players doesnt get their name on the contract.
Arry knows they can do the job at CB for us just like he knew Kjaer could but he is doing jack diddle about it.

It's really time for us to lay down some cash and at least have one major signing I know money does not mean victory but damn lets take a fooking chance!
