I didnt see any of the South African matches. Did he look ok? The skysports article makes him sound like a great bloke. The bit that pleased me the most was:

Yes, he is probably just trying to say the right things, but I like the sound of his endeavor and determination.

Scored against France in the World Cup. Huuuuge, powerful bloke. Wether he has the capabilities of playing against Premier League strikers every week is yet to be seen. I guess if he handles himself against, Defoe, Pav, Keano etc in training he will give him self a good chance.

I agree I like the idea of signing a great (all ready proven) player but we build a squad with pretty much no bodies and because of that we are Tottenham Hotspur... I agree we need A bgi signing for the CL next season but I had never heard of Lennon, Dawson etc before we signed them (obviously knew about them when we were signing them) and look at them now!!!
