just would like everyones thoughts on how many players we need to make a real go of the champions league i think 3 or 4 at most new LB new MF and new striker
1 ST , 1 Mid , 1 Def , 1 Gk

A striker and a LB is our main priorities once we got them harry can pull of any cheap deals he wants

dont see the point of getting a new lb. We have bale as our first choice, and BAE for cover. We need a left mid, defender ( RICHARDS!!!!) and a worldclass striker, please god a striker harry!

Although I do prefer him at LB
yea defientley think we need to play bale left mid untill he improves his defending and dnt think bae is good enough or has the rite attuide i think eden hazard would be a great buy for midfield

Any of 1 these would be superb for the squad but im keeping fingers crossed we'll get 3.
Do we need another Centreback? Even if you discount woody because of injury we still have Dawson, King, Bassong, Kaboul, Caulker and Charlie and Hudd can play there too if needs be. I would take Richards for versitility.
Dont think we really need a LM? Bale isnt good enough defensively to play LB yet so he will be starting there for me, also have Kranjcar, GDS who looks to be back in the plan and Modric.
Agree on the striker, and would also say we need a LB, preferably someone with experience to help bales development in the defensive side of his game.

Micah Richards for his versatility to cover RB and CB.
Fabio Aurelio on a free. Left Back with EPL and CL experience, could really help Bale and Benny improve as well, and on a free he'd be a great signing imo.
Top class centre forward. Dzeko would be the ideal one imo but it seems he's out of our reach now.
Craig Bellamy for his never say die attitude. As others have mentioned, imagine certain players in the squad, like Huddlestone, with Bellamy's attitude - he would smash everything in sight!
Wouldn't say no to Joe Cole coming either. Got CL experience and Harry can get the best out of him, of that I'm sure.
Pletikosa seems like he's on the way in according to Harry which would settle our goalkeeping department for the coming 3-4 years I reckon.

There isnt a decent LB available so I dont think we should just sign one for the sake of it.A striker is a must but I dont want that to be Craig Bellamy to be that world class striker we are suppose to be signing.We can get better LMs than we can LB so we should try and sign a LM
Bale cant defend yet so we cant take that chance and get punished so a new LB is needed as BAE always gets caught out and isn't trusted IMO.
Everyone seems to be saying a new LB.I was up for that at the start of the summer but who is there that would could realistically sign?
