      I found this floating around on a footie blog earlier today and thought I would post it.

      I have to say, although meager points... I am pissed with FIFA. Why the **** is sepp baltter in charge, and why the **** is it taking them so long to get off their asses and sort this bull shit out? Oh right, because blatter is at the top....

      First and foremost, let me say this. I am not your over-the-top wealthy, politically influential or even economically influential individual.
      No, I am your average football fan, the male between the age of 13-65, who works a meager 9-5 job for your average wage; I have nothing in life to look forward
      to but the weekend and the football it offers;
      I look at football as the simplest of games, one which has brought the world together in times of peace, and in times of war;
      a game in which history, politics and life has become intertwined over the past 100 years.
      There is no doubting that, and there can be no questioning of it.

      With that said, I must ask in which direction this beautiful game has gone, particularly in the past 10 years. It seems as if common sense has turned in to senility
      in the beautiful game. As a football fan, I watch my beloved game being torn apart now by senile old dinosaurs who seem to have no interest in the game than to generate
      profits through the exploitation of us, the average fan. From the corruption which has spread through the ranks of FIFA (undoubtedly the head of the dragon is also well fed),
      the hesitation by certain high ranking officials to tackle said corruption, the hesitation to modernize the game itself and the clear lack of a connection with us,
      your average fan, it is time to say enough is enough.

      It is time for us, the average fan to stand up to the bullies who control the game from the high mountaintops of the swiss mountains.
      It is time for us, to stand up and use our resources to tell FIFA, we are disgusted with how it is being run, and that it must their must be a reformation of the organization
      at the top of the ladder.

      We are in an era which is demanding change:
      We are demanding that governments allow freedoms; freedom to speak and be heard, freedom to ask questions and have them answered, and the freedom to change things
      if we are not satisfied with the answers provided.
      We are demanding to know why the banks are allowing our hard earned money to be gambled with, and why so many of us who worked for so long have now lost almost everything.

      Well I say to you this. Take a good, long look at FIFA. Take a good, long look at how they operate, and how much power they wield.
      Take a look at the corporations constantly pouring money in to advertising through football, and the sponsorship which FIFA have struck up.
      There is a very good reason as why FIFA allows for no government interference within any football confederation.

      FIFA are both bank and a government. They are both State and economy, hiding in the hills of Swiss Chalets which YOU bought for them, when you turn on a televised match.
      Well I am sick of it. I have watched the uprising against the governments and the protests against the bankers. I have felt for them as they fight tooth and nail, and continue to
      for those basic freedoms and answers.

      Well now, I want freedoms and I want answers.

      I want to have the freedom, as a football fan, to stand up and say "I am not happy with the way these despicable men, who's eyes are on
      the pot of gold rather than any golden cup, are running the game."
      I want the freedom to question Sepp Blatter and the rest of the corrupt cronies, who sit in their executive boxes sipping Moet Champagne,
      "Why am I struggling to follow my beloved football team, when it is clearly my water, my breath, my life?"

      We have watched governments be toppled with voices, and we have watched bankers crumble under the gaze of our eyes.
      We are watching as masked vigilanties now wage war, not with bullets but with a key board.

      Well it is time. We have nothing to fear, with nothing to lose. FIFA can never take this game away from us;
      Through our voices, and writings, artwork and mediums, it is time to say WE WANT CHANGE.
      It is time to turn our attention to FIFA as united fans of this beautiful game in anyway possible;
      and as fans, we number in the billions. We should not have to unite behind masks, because in this case, WE are the 99%,
      WE are the majority and WE are the ones who are getting SCREWED.

      So unite, as we have before. But unite, as global fans world wide and make your voice heard.

      So make your voices heard.
      We will show our discouragement, and express ourselves;
      We will Show it through our banners and flags at matches;
      We will use our voices in video blogs, and our keyboards on forums.
      Spread this message if you are discontent with FIFA.
      Translate it so all fans can understand and unite against corruption in the footballing government.

      This will happen, and it must happen now; we must throw out the stagnated old cronies before they effect any more of this beautiful game.

      So spread this message; Spread it as across the lands which football reigns supreme.

      And we will not hide; we are not ANONYMOUS. YOU CAN FIND US IN THE STADIUMS, LIVING ROOMS AND PUBS, BEACH BARS AND STREETS.
      ...and we will show our discontent....
      It's been my life, Tottenham Hotspur;
      and I love the Club

      Nice find, and I completely agree with the sentiment. I think Sepp Blatter is the root of all evil and the only way to get positive change in the game is to get rid of him first.

      Sadly the only way to protest with a drastic effect would be to not watch football at all.

      I think the point he is making is that we shouldn't not have to watch football, we are the majority in this case. We should watch football and with globalization, it is imminent that those banners that say "**** FIFA" at epl games will suddenly find there way in to the bundesliga...and so on and so.

      Why the **** not. Lets do it. How do you overthrow a government who's jurisdiction is so far? Yet there is no form included in the units nations...which seems to go hand in hand with me. Outside of n America, this game can cause love and hate, peace and war.

      Well you see while the banners are a good idea FIFA has no control on that but the clubs could take action and so on. I am just connecting the dots they could start banning people for that unless everyone in the stadium carries it with them then they wouldn't be able to do a damn thing. See what I mean?

      And where they ban fans...then where does the money ultimately come from? Cut the hand that feeds the dragons head I say. For me, as a fan there is no difference. I love my team, but more importantly this game. I have no qualms about just going for a walk to watch the local under 16's play, or even asking if I can join in when I see people,playing in the park next door.

      And I have poured thousands of dollars in to tottenham, be it their apps, kits or games. I should have a say, just as you have a say because you pay your taxes and your dues.

      And as for clubs that may take action, through proper channels and mediums such as supporter clubs and even the firms which have influence in the clubs. Aim for the teams where fans have a say in the way things are run. You really think someone would run for barca president if he was not popular with the fans? No.
      Eithew way I think it does need to be looked at.
      As iI said before, FIFA are like a government who have no jurisdiction; they think they have no citizens who will stand up and say **** you.

      Well it is the opposite. We are citizens, because FIFA has no jurisdiction. They cant tell who and who can't be a supporter now, can they?

      Infact, I would love to see that.

      Could you imagine, sepp batter telling you to support the gooners instead?

      Well I guess it's just my way of seeing things if we were to start a protest we need to hit them where it hurts. These people usually have no sympathy or any human emotion and the only place it hurts is in their wallet.

      Well if someone had shown more bottle from within that organisation, he'd be out on his ear by now instead of being given the position for another term unopposed!

      Why the fook should they show any bottle mate.

      They are thick as theives lining their own pockets and feathering their own nests.

      I'd imagine that who ever toed the line and STFU when it counted was rewarded handsomely for their courage in the face of the truth being outsted.

      A NOTW full blown under cover report is the only way to get them. And you have to get fatter and twatini.

      On the contrary, I believe Blatter is just a puppet as most of the other big organization presidents around the world. It's all about who's managing the money behind it. You can sack Blatter, but things will not be changed.

      Here is a small passage from Blatter's entry in wikipedia:
      "The vote took place at the 61st FIFA Congress in Zurich.[37] The only other candidate, Mohammed bin Hammam of Qatar, withdrew from the presidential race on the 28th May, just before the vote.[37] Bin Hammam had supported Blatter's 1998 and 2002 presidential campaigns, but admitted that he had fallen out with Blatter over issues within the FIFA Executive Committee.[38] The FIFA ethics committee that investigated bribery claims against Bin Hammam and CONCACAF head Jack Warner announced that Blatter will not face an investigation into claims that he knew of the bribery and did nothing about it, due to a lack of evidence."

      As you see whoever thinks of competing against him gets some issues. That's because Blatter is following his orders precisely and thus pleasing the football owners behind the curtains.

      ignorance is bliss... but on a level like that? more like senility.

      i wonder what one day of every fan refusing to attend any sort of proffessional match for one day would lose for fifa? they must take a cut of everything, no?
