viber= free calls to anyone else with viber in the world

navfree= free sat nav

drop box= just download this on your phone and computer then put your pics into it and you can veiw them anywhere in the world

sky+= record a program on sky from anywhere

fun mirror= warp pics of people, good laugh

whatsapp= send free pics and videos and instant chat to anyone with this app

0800 wizard= call 0800 numbers and instead of paying they come out of your inclusive minutes

08 wizard= searches for a normal number rather than an 08 and if it finds one for the same place these come out of your inclusive minute

on voicefeed= not tried this but you can leave voice mails to individuals so different people get different messages

my photos= you can put pictures into folders and then pass code lock them for safety

gorillacam= timer for iphone with some decent times and additions

argos= check stock and reserve straight from your iphone

vevo= free music videos

easy self shot= if you have a blutooth earpiece that has forward and reverse buttons you can use this as a remote device to take pics

photosynth= take panorama pictures on iphone

free wifi= check if there is a free wifi spot in the area you are in

redlaser= scan a bar code and check prices elsewhere, this saved me £70 on an item that was £180 in a shop

Angry Birds - These birds can't fly so need a sling shot to propel them. Oh, great game to boot

Whatsapp is by far the most useful app for me....it has honestly saved me thousands. Use it all the time.

Shazam - great app, just press a button when you hear a song that you don't know the name of, and it will 'listen' to it for about 10 seconds then tell you the name of the song, the artist, and the album it's on.

The SkySports app is also good for football, cricket etc.

And there's one called 'Folders' that you can have hidden folders with pictures and videos in it that are password locked.......just in case you have anything to hide (@Fatboyyid )

Hoiio. Lets you forward calls to your own number even if you're overseas and using a foreign sim cardEvernote. Cloud based app for notes photos and the like. I used Evernote to save photos of newspaper headlines of our UCL campaign, Evernote seamlessly OCR'ed the articles making the photographed text searchable.

Google goggles.......... fookin mint app..... basically you take a picture of something ....i.e the cockeral on your spurs shirt .....then google susses out what the picture is........ finds similar pictures .....when you click on one of the similar pictures ............It loads a search using the key word ........ in this case tottenham hotspurs would appear on the google search bar.

So in a nutshell ......... no more typing!!!!!!........... if you can take a picture of something that means what you want to type.

fruit ninja - a fun slicing game, don't slice the bombs though!
angry birds - you should know about this one already!
soundcloud - a music social network, listen to an array of artists full tracks or upload your own if u are an artist/producer
dictionary.com - handy if you are unsure about a certain word or contexting

LiveScore - the name says it all. Live scores for nearly all football leagues (-> also China, Brazil, Bulgaria etc) + live scores Hockey, Basketall and Tennis.

AroundMe - Good App for questions like: Where is the next bank, bar, gas station, hospital pub, supermarket etc.

SoundHound - Works like Shazam, but also with voice recognition, so you you can sing the melody of a track.

As the Sky Player app is being retired Sky is replacing the app with Sky Go. If you are a Sky TV customer this app is now free to use. Just log in using your Sky account login. If you previously subscribed to the app on the iPhone the subscription will cancel automatically. The only additions to Sky Go are 4 movie channels alongside the Sports and news channels that were available with the Sky Player app. Sky are looking at adding further channels in the future.

TubeMap - if you're in london and need to get somewhere random, this is a good way of sussing out the best underground route.

Flashlight - needs no explanation really.

IMDb - movie/tv database website made into an app. amazing for when youre watching something and cant quite work out why you recognise that actor...

lightsaber - why wouldnt you want to turn your iphone into a lightsaber?!

flickfootball - fun game for when you're having a number 2

FM - expensive but worth it. see above.
