So there has been a lot of conjecture following last weeks relatively poor performance, particularly regards the balance of the side so what formation are we going to see this weekend?

When you give your view remember to say whether it is what you would go for or what you think Juande will choose.

I would choose:

Gomes

Gunter King Woody Bale

O'Hara
Bentley GDS
Modric

Bent Berba

I think Juande will go with:

Gomes

Zokora Dawson Woody BAE

Jenas

I don't know for sure which way Ramos will go. He may stick with Dawson in CB. He may also stick Lennon on at LM again and shift Bale into LB. That's not too bad in my mind though.

Everyone has an off-game. Whilst they both didn't cover themselves in glory doesn't nescessarily mean they should be dropped. They did quite well in preseason, so deserve another chance. Knee-jerk reactions won't help. I wouldn't mind replacing Gunter with Zokora at RB, but that's no guarantee he will be better as he's still learning. While having Bale at LB would be better than BAE, I think we need him more at LM, especially as he's dangerous pushing forward.

Regarding the DM, I think Huddlestone is better, but Ramos is sticking with Jenas for a reason, so i'll hear him out.

Got a point though neither of them will defend and Zakora proved on saturday that his defensive qualities are at best suspect.

Mate we're playing Sunderland AT HOME, King will sort the defence out if he plays. Bentley isn't a hit the byeline winger, neither is Bale so they should be able to handle it. Plus if they play deep it's like having FIVE at the back, Bentley wants to ping the balls in from bloody miles away anyway. If we'd been able to score goals at Boro we'd have won regardless of our ****e defence, this formation could anihilate a team as mediocre as Sunderland. They won't be expecting it that's for sure ! lol.
