Spurs team at the end of 2011?

At the beginning of last year, I don't think anyone would have predicted that our best XI would look anything like what it did at the end of the season:

Gomes; Corluka, Dawson, King, Assou-Ekotto; Lennon, Huddlestone, Modric, Bale; Defoe, Crouch/Pavlyuchenko.

The rise of some players (eg: Bale) took us all by surprise. So,for a bit of fun, what do you predict will be considered our best XI at the end of May 2011? You can use players we already have and/or add players you think we'll sign.....


I'm not going to add any players that we currently don't have, so mine is:

Gomes; Naughton, Dawson, King, Bale; Huddlestone, Modric, Livermore/Sandro; Lennon/Giovani, Defoe, Rose/Giovani.

actually i take that back.... this is what i would like to see....with huddlestone banging in more goals, in a more advanced role...

I think hudd neeeds to be more advanced, with his passing and shooting ability, he can become a goal scoring center mid. Hope harry sees his potential, to become one of the greatest!

I think footy will still be played with 11 men at the end of 2011 mate!!

I'm partial to a 4-5-1/4-3-3/4-2-3-1 hybrid. It would look something like this...

We aren't really the Dutch but our play is well suiting to this when good ole Crouchy isn't playing, we tend to lob the ball forward too often like we're fresh out of the championship. Are midfielders are so versatile that we could take any of those shapes.
I considered a classic 4-5-1 as opposed to the 4-5-1 attacking that i have pictured, but our wingers are too good not to be featured. At the very least we could put ARSEnal to shame with our midfield play, although I would prefer we have an attempt everyone once in a while (unlike arsenal).
