Maradona obviously played for Argentina with Spurs legend Ossie Ardilles, and it was for that reason that he played in Ossie's testimonial game against the mighty Inter Milan.
A few memorable faces on show, with Maradona, Ardilles and Hoddle linking up in the middle. Look out also for a young Chris Hughton near the start.
This was arguably the greatest (though many make him second to Pele) player in the world, playing in the year when he so famously won Argentina the World Cup, scoring some of the greatest ever goals against England and Belguim on route.
You can see the typical Maradona way of running and his finesse on the ball. Blimey, he would have been great I've he'd joined us instead of Napoli. We weren't far off back then and would surely have won Division 1 with his aid, but alas no.
Anyway, enjoy.
Sorry about it posting the same clip twice, it was meant to have same writing underneath. Anyway, below is the said writing, so we can get fairly comfortably round this little technical difficulty.

Cheers for sharing, i haven't seen that video in a while and its always great to watch! Ive always loved the pic of Maradona in a spurs shirt (hence it being my avatar)
I used to play for 'South America United, in the Clapham Sunday league and 'Ossie was our chairman and representative. He came with Maradona to a sunday match with The "Great man ". Maradona played keepy uppy with a football backspining it on the up with his left foot. It must have been at least 40 times he kept backspinning it in the air.
Amazing...!

I'm very proud to say I was there. Not quite so proud that we were sitting in the Paxton end (being a Shelf Sider meself) but they were the only tickets we could get. Maradona's thinking was way ahead of the rest of the Spurs team for most of the game - several times he went down the left towards Paxton and got to the goal area and had no-one to pass to, so just had a hopeful shot at goal - one such example's in the video. Quite an eye-opener as to just how incredible he was. I also remember Liam Brady scoring a corker of a free kick at the Park Lane end. Fantastic curve he put on it.
Taking my 16yr old daughter to her first game at WHL on 14th August against Man City. That'll be a very proud day for DadShe's been to some Spurs friendlies against Bournemouth. A deliberate ploy by me so she has something to compare WHL with.
