First post youtube problem .

If anyone puts a youtube vid on their first post of a new thread , I find that Ros's advert obscures the right hand side of the vid screen thus ....

Click onto the image to make it bigger .


Clicking onto the vid to make it start makes no difference , does anyone else have this problem ?

Yeah that's your problem. Can't remember how to change it on windows again but you need to change your screen resolution.

I also have this problem - mentioned it to @RiverWire , and apparently it is indeed to do with us poor bastards with small screens. I've got round the problem by setting up a specific block on the ad .gif so it doesn't display, and the videos work properly now.

I think the only thing we can do at the moment is all blame Ross, With out rewriting a large part of how posts are displayed i cant sort it for the smaller screened people so youtube vid's and quotes in the first post will have to remain cut off until i remove the adverts in the future Blame Ross, thats the only answer i have for you

I don't know what the site policy is regarding adblocking, but if you're using FireFox you can just download AdBlock Plus (free addon), right-click on the picture and select 'AdBlock Plus: Block Image'. That way just that image isn't displayed and videos display properly.
