Uploading an avatar - New members please take note :)

Hi everyone,

Its great to see some great new members coming through the door in the past couple of weeks and some great discussions sprouting from those new faces also.

There are large amounts of you that havent chosen to upload an avatar to display near your posts, whether its because you dont know how or you just havent had the time id like to take a moment to explain how to do so.

having an avatar is not essential and please dont feel you have to have one , however it does give you a bit of presence on the forum, it gives people the feeling they are actually talking to someone rather than just words on a screen , its a little like a personality.

So if you havent got one please consider it , it also makes the forum look alot more friendly to the outside world which will encourage new members like your selves.

To edit your avatar all you need to do is goto the settings button in the gray bar at the top - click edit avatar and then upload an image of your choice that is of the right size.

if you need an image resized then feel free to post a request in the graphics section here : Graphics Forum

And im sure someone will be happy to resize it to your needs. ( if the forum doesnt resize it automatically )
