formatting issue?

when i edit a post, i see this.



when i click the advanced button, i see this.




it seems like the HTML formatting is being lost?

help?

Are you copy and pasting that selection from anther source that has underlaying HTML ? The site doesnt allow the post of HTML so it will reformat it in BB code which is the forum global standard, to check if you are pasting HTML you can click the little a/A button on the far left of the editor to show it as plain text

i'm typing it in manually. it happened when i was adding to the post. there are some links in that thread but, no HTML. i said HTML because sometimes, for a split second, i can see the formatting of the layout and it seems to be in HTML (although that could actually be BB Code).

i edited that post a few times without a problem but, what you can see above happened so, i had to re-align the text. might be an issue my end mate but, i thought that i would bring it up?

No worries mate it could be a glitch but if it continues to happen post again in this thread , same for anyone else this happens too so i can try and pin point it a bit better.

what browser are you using mate ? Im using Firefox and it doesnt do it for that. Might be a cross browser problem i need to look into ?

Hmm, It should be ok...........there is a forum update that needs to be done later today after the match has finished so ill post again in this thread to tell you when its done , if you then clear your cache and try again after the update it might be an issue that is already addressed in this latest update.

ok mate. mind, i can't clear the cache just yet as i am in the middle of posting on around 70 odd forums in 4 different languages so, if i clear it, i will be in a right pickle.

use of cameras in footy. i am asking this to fans from the premier league, la liga, serie a and the bundesliga. it's a right mammoth task lol
