meh hes gona score goals wherever he goes, that just the sort of player he is. like inzaghi. but im not the bigest fan of his... i guess it has something to do with how he plays (pure finisher, not much else) but its not only that.
Heerenveen produces some great talent in the center forward position, Van Nistelrooy and Huntelaar included. Alfonso Alves has been less successful though but I'd keep an eye on whoever they replace him with.Originally Posted by gomes4life
Just because he is being successful with Madrid, doesn't mean he would of been successful with us. It's the same with every player we buy, though. Even ones that are proven in the prem, as every team has a different style of play and players.

hes a very good player...was in amsterdam at the weekend for the Scotland game....his movement is extremely good, and he has alot of pace and with our "dad's Army" at the back it was exploited.
On the flip side of the coin i had £20 on him to score first at 6/1 on saturday...Good Times!!
