Alright there,
so with the big match coming up I just noticed that Man City have 3 stars on their badge.
Now in other leagues you get these for winning the title a certain number of times or for winning in Europe. For example in the SPL Rangers have about a gazillion stars because they have won the league that often and Aberdeen have 2, because they have 2 European titles.
And obviously national teams get them too for winning a World Cup.
However no team in the Premier League seems to do this, yet Man City have 3 stars. Does anyone know why they have them on their badge?
And does anyone know why English teams don't go in for the whole stars on shirts thing? I think 3 stars for our European exploits would look great underneath our badge.

I think it's just part of their team crest, and nothing to do with any cup wins

Thet bought them - like all their 'stars'!
If you can keep your head when all around you are losing theirs and blaming it on you ... you probably haven't a clue what's going on!

So in other words: Not good enough to win much and **** all history to boot, so we'll make out like we have both to those who don't know.

Them stars are meant to mean how many times you have won the European cup, that's why I'm amazed rangers changed it to something else to suit themselves
I asked a City fan about this, it's purely for decoration @ToDareIsToDo14![]()

Are the stars made of plastic too and cost a zillion quid.

Yeah I seen that mate but originally it was only for cl final wins, ac Milan and a few others always had them and even the bundippers had 5 on theirs, Celtic had one because they won the European cup so rangers adopted the league winning stars to counter that ec win
@thfcire ah ok, just checked and seen that Forest like to show off their 2 stars.

Milan have won the champions league 7 times, yet only have 1 star....?
I went into my local sub shop and asked for the most expensive sub they had. They gave me the Andy Carroll.
