Do you think that your club will ever get another player as celebrated as one of my favourite all time players Sir Stanley Matthews ???

with the solid start you have had in the last 2 seasons do you see yourself a steady top 10 team in the next 5 years? do you ever see yourselves signing a 10 million plus player and would he suit your wage structure and system of play? how are you lot so noisy is there somethijng in the water?

do you think your club will ever have another player as celebrated as the great sir stanley matthews?

Sir Stan really was a one off as far as Stoke City are concerned, but of the current crop, Ricardo Fuller is our talisman and encapsulates everything good about the club. One player who could become great within the footballing world is Ryan Shawcross who could even make it to the World Cup finals with England in 2010 as he seems to be highly rated by a lot of managers within the game, and considering he is still very young, has the ability to dominate attackers and kept Carlton Cole very quiet last week.

do you now see yourselves as an established top flight team who can now push on and maybe challenge for europe?

No, it's far too early in our premiership career to even be thinking of Europe at the moment, establish ourselves in the League must be our priority and then look to possible European spots from about four years onwards if we are still in the division then.

what are ur opinions on harry redknapp and his management style?

I personally think he's astute and very funny, although suspicions of brown envelopes are never too far away from him, he certainly knows how to build a good team, but on recent form, he has to spend a lot of money to build them, could this be why Portsmouth are in the ****? although blame cannot be put 100% at Droppy's door for that one as the financial side of football is dealt with by the chief executive.

who do you see as the dangermen for both teams this weekend?

Our most focal dangerman is Ricardo Fuller who can destroy teams with his trickery, but set pieces when we attack is where we excel, with any player in the team able to put the ball in the back of the net. the back four are all six foot plus and come up for corners, so the opposition need to be aware of that

what does rory delap offer to your team besides a torpedo like throw in?

Apart from his throw in, Rory is not a spectacular player by a longshot, but is a typical worker in a Pulis team and works his nuts off, But on a wide pitch like WHL, Rory is not as effective, so he may be on the bench for this one.

Do you have any players that you fear losing in the upcoming transfer windows?

None whatsoever, and with Ryan signing a new contract within the last two weeks, it would take a bid of substantial money to prise him away from here this season. Tuncay is rumoured to be unhappy, but I am a firm believer that no players is bigger than the club. I also know that Tony Pulis thinks this way as well.

if you could have 3 players from the spurs squad who would you choose?

Defoe, Modric and Huddlestone.

i would be over the moon with a draw, but think we will lose either 2-1 or 3-1.

As much as i'd like to think so, no we wont, we got pretty darn close to a player with similar ability in Hoekstra. But you never know, the youth of today do seem better than ever!


do you now see yourselves as an established top flight team who can now push on and maybe challenge for europe?

No! And any stoke fan who says yes is deluded, we need to keep steadly progressing for the next 3-4 years before we can even think about having a push for a regular top 10 place. Our only hope is in the carling cup so fingers crossed!


what are ur opinions on harry redknapp and his management style?

Good ole' Harry, i can see plenty of him in Pulis and thats because Pulis worked with him, they have silmilar transfer policies, always looking for that bagain diamond! Although Pulis isn't as dodgy!

For you guys Lennon without a doubt, unbelievlby quick with the talent to turn any player inside out.

For us Fuller, you cannot give him time on the ball because he will turn your defence inside out with his bits of magic!


what does rory delap offer to your team besides a torpedo like throw in?

He never stops running ever! he will be at the heels of whichever player of the opposition has the ball, and he is there to do the simple passes that can set up out attacks.


Do you have any players that you fear losing in the upcoming transfer windows?

I am hoping we can tie Shawcross down on a long term deal quickly, they are in talks, but if a team came in with a £15million bid you never know what the club will do. He is a rock for us and rarely puts a foot wrong and should get a call up by Capello for the upcoming friendlies.


if you could have 3 players from the spurs squad who would you choose?

Defoe and Keane - their goalscoring record speaks for itself, and Lennon for the reason mentioned earlier, he would give the team so much more pace.

Would love for us to get a draw, but can't see it happening, so will go for 2-1 to you guys

do you think your club will ever have another player as celebrated as the great sir stanley matthews?

We may get a player with great tallent like Stan, but he will always be our one and only. A true gent and everything that is beautiful about our game, that at times is sadly missing in the modern game.


do you now see yourselves as an established top flight team who can now push on and maybe challenge for europe?

No we are no where near that yet, we need to spend the next few years slowly building a quality team. We have waited 25 years just to get back to the top table, we can wait another 5-6 for anything further.


what are ur opinions on harry redknapp and his management style?

Good manager, would have loved him to be the England boss.

For us it will be Fuller, would like to say Tuncay but we haven't really seen much of him yet. Word is he may start on Saturday.

For you Crouch/Defoe/Keane/Modric/Kranjar(sp). You have a very good squad and should get european football next season.

Rory put's himself about and always puts a shift in, not the best footballer in the world with the ball at his feet. We are out for a ball player in the middle.

Do you have any players that you fear losing in the upcoming transfer windows?

We seem to be doing very well in getting our players to sign long term deals at the moment, so can't see any of the bigger names moving on. We no longer need to sell our best players and it seems as though Tony is trying to build a team around them.

King- If only he could have stayed fit more !!
