Giovani Dos Santos (Tottenham Hotspurs)Are we going to be letting this guy go or what?- Dos Santos’ recovery time for his ankle injury has passed by, but the player wasn’t called to suit up for the 9-1 thrashing by Spurs against Wigan.
He is amazing if given the chance to play. Look at his international permformances. Shame the injury came just after Harry said he was a class act while away on intenrational duty.
I want this guy to play. He has talent. Though he is best suited to playing on the right..and we all know Lennon has to be on the right, Bentley 2nd... he can play on the Left WIng, Attacking Mid & as a striker.
Look how versatile he is. I mean come on! He has the talent to become a major star if Harry lets him play.
What are your opinions? Sell him like Pav in January or what?
How you doing?? (I hope your female)
I like the guy he has a real talent imo but is also injury prone which is why i think he hasnt featured much recently.
Hes a great player to come off the bench if we need some more pace so i say keep the lad and sell Pav fo sho.
I say he has to be given a real run in the side.
Now is about the right time as well with a winable list of fixtures coming up.
Hope we dont sell him and pav gets booted out to raise funds for another class DM.
i sincerely hope not, that injury was crappy timing
Would have been good to throw him on against Wigan when we were spanking them, and see what he can do when theres no pressure on.
I would keep him until summer at least and see if we can get a few games out of him and challenging for a first team spot.
It doesn't surprise me too much that he wasn't on the bench. He is only just back from a reasonably long injury & I'm guessing hasn't been in full training with the rest of the lads for long. Look at Woody & Daws. They were both supposedly 'fit' or 'back rom injury' quite a while before they were really made available to play.
Harry has to be fair & give everyone similar opportunity & I'm sure Gio will get his. It is up to Gio to then take that opportunity.
King and Bongani,
King and Bongani bong!!
(watch out here they come!)
Will we stay or will we go now?
Will we stay or will we go now?
If we go there will be trouble
and if we stay we'll do the double
So Levy has got let us know
Will we stay or will we go!
Rafael, Van Der Vaart
ƒuck Chelsea & Frank Lampard
with a nick-nack paddywhack he'll be getting goals
when Lampard's too fat & old
COYSAFOYS
As Harry said, a player will get his chance if they continue to practice well, and once opportunity arises (those above the pecking order first). Once Modric returns, he will fall down the pecking order. I have a feeling he may get loaned out again but until then (and possibly after then) will continue to be a benchwarmer. GDS has been unfortunate to be playing for a team with talented players in the position that he plays in.
I love you.
SPURS ARE MY LIFE, MY LOVE, AND MY RELIGION, LET US PLAY....
Dos Santos is the type of player that we need for the future so he must be kept at all costs, Harry was playing him in the Carling Cup team until he picked up his injury and I think that will continue until he gets his chance in the PL. He was excellent on loan at Ipswich last season and maybe could do with another spell there until March when he can come back match fit for our final push into the Champions League ; )
Always on the look out for matchworn Spurs shirts, the older, the better....
I agree he should be playing or at least be given a fair crack at a place, but with Kranjcar and Modders on the left I really can't see where GDS would break into the squad... Not much space up front either.
I love the guy. Almost scored in the League Cup with his wonderful run. Just hit the bar
He's full of beans (Mexican ones lmao) so once he comes back from injury, he can be put in the squad against Hull or Wolves probably. See how he goes. Otherwise he is just wasting away on the bench.
i hate to see Gio waste away on the bench...but honestly, who will he replace? The side is in top form right now and I cant say with any certainty that Gio would make it better. He is top class and I do hope we hold onto him...i just dont know if hell want to stay without first team football
I think we are extremely lucky to have so much talent waiting to burst onto the pitch . Sit back and enjoy , its taken years of struggle , and a good few players have come and gone to get to where are today . Come to think of it a few managers have come and gone too , but now we are starting to look like the real deal .
Yeah I hope he stays.
But
Sky Sports | Football News | Premier League | Tottenham Hotspur | Depor still keen on Dos Santos
His future isn't looking good @ the Lane if he doesn't start playing..
He wants to leave and someone wants his services dOh.
