Spurs Legends to turn out for Non-League Legend

I hope this doesn't break the spamming rules, but I thought it might be of interest to some Spurs fans - particularly those in or near West London / Middlesex.

Ashford Town (Middlesex) FC have made great strides in the last twenty years - developing their ground from a railed off pitch to a safe, modern stadium. That progress has been matched on the pitch, with the club now playing in the Ryman League Premier Division.

Remarkably, one player has been at the club for the whole time. Paul Burgess is a goalkeeper who signed for Ashford in the summer of 1990 and has racked up 651 First Team games so far, on top of countless Reserve & Friendly matches.

The Club is marking Paul's incredible commitment by staging a testimonial in his honour. Paul is a lifelong Tottenham Hotspur fan and so we are delighted that the Spurs Legends team, run by Tony Galvin have agreed to play an Ashford XI.

The game is taking place at our ground at Short Lane, Stanwell, Middlesex, TW19 7BH on Sunday 27th September, with a 2.00pm kick off. Admission is £10 for Adults, £5 for Students and OAPs and just £1 for Children Under 16. Tickets can be bought online from our website (see below) or purchased on the day.

We're close to Junctions 13 & 14 of the M25, Heathrow Airport and have good public transport links. Full directions are available on our website.
