according to this, we have only spent
5 mil this year in transfers
Spurs - Transfers of Tottenham Hotspur, Premier League - Football - transfermarkt.co.uk
a massive 50 mil last year

a silly 65 mil the year before.

Lets hope we stop doing these massive home-squad-make-overs-extreme-edition every summer followed by a bit of panic buying in Jan.
Well done Harry, 5 mil net, is good spending, I'll forget the 50mil last year as it wasn't just you.
I reckon in Jan, we could actually bank a few quid from selling some of the fringe players.
COYS
We all no how well we did in terms of money in and money out in this transfer market.
It was very clear we are tryin to balance the books and keep money for our new stadium.
Also, Harry invested in his own players at the best prices also shipping out the crap like Bent, Chimbonda and 'The Prince' getting the most money outta them, thanks to Levy.
"Modric could play in any team in the world in my opinion, he's a fantastic footballer, top, top class."
Looked at these yest when i posted the pompey bit... we have made some serious losses in the last few years.... it goes to show just how shrewd Levy is to be able to leave us in NO debt even with a relatively small stadium.. its quite brilliant really
Keep going Levy![]()
yeah, i am much more happy with this transfer window knowing that the key was keeping the money as even as possible. To me i would always prefer a hugh signing any time if it helps the team. however this buying that was done imo have made us a legit contender for the title. i know it is still a little early but i think the next 3 games will tell us as we have Man Ure and Chelsea in the next 2.
Bravo to Levy and 'Arry though!! \(^^\)(/^^)/
we didnt really need much added to the squad in this window imo, think it was more about getting rid of the deadweight, pity jj was injured as im sure we would have got decent money for him.were very strong in most postions now, although i think any cb buy in the window would have been abit of a panic buy unless he was good enough to keep our current crop out of the team.fingers crossed we get some of guys back at cb and modders and we will be grand
Got rid of plenty of deadwood, with a potential £30m to be gained in January if Bentley, Jenas and Pav end up offskis! Get Moussa Sissoko and a young striker in with that... happy days!
