I know there was the taxigate saga after the Spammers game, but I am not convinced that he or we ever wanted to get rid.

I think he'll do well now we have injuries and when he gets his chance he needs to take it.

Though, if he trains well with a positive attitude, he will get his chance. Once he does, it's down on him to show how talented he is on the pitch. Though when given the chance last season, he didn't take full advantage of it (eg Man City at WHL last season)

his body language is always good- he certainly hasn't sulked for the cameras like some of these guys do when they don't get time.

I'm just thrilled that we have so many class strikers. It's a long season, and between them, they'll get their share of looks.

Agreed. Keane has looked far from form. Really, his best performance may have been at the wing filling in for Modric on Saturday.

itd be great if keane could fill that void with pav starting with jd - i'd personally love that and think it would work - and have crouch come on for one of the front two if its just not working out. but with the input of niko in the squad and harry recently saying that gio will get some time now, i wonder how this will all work out. but on the bright side, we have a lot of depth when everyone's healthy again!

Yeah, I can't see Keane playing wing on a consistant basis while Modric is out. And really, as much as I hate to say it, Gio has skills. I'd like to see him split time with Niko and see what he can do in the league.

Though to be fair he was absolutely horrible until then. Was absolutely disgusted with his performance but that pass helped make up for it somewhat.
