Aaron Lennon and Peter Crouch have joined Jermain Defoe in the England squad for the friendly against Slovenia and World Cup qualifier against Croatia.
Our goalscorers against Birmingham City on Saturday - maintaining our 100 per cent start to the season - are back in Fabio Capello's squad after being left out for the friendly against Holland on August 12.
In-form striker Jermain scored both of England's goals that night and he has four goals in four games for us so far this term, including a hat-trick against Hull.
England take on Slovenia on Saturday (September 5) before the WCQ against Croatia on Wednesday week, September 9. Both matches are at Wembley Stadium.
England squad:
Goakeepers - Foster (United)
, Green (West Ham),
Robinson (Blackburn).
Defenders - Bridge (City),
Brown (United),
Cole (Chelsea),
Johnson (Liverpool),
Lescott (City),
Terry (Chelsea),
Upson (West Ham).
Midfielders - Barry (City),
Beckham (LA Galaxy),
Carrick (United),
Gerrard (Liverpool),
Lampard (Chelsea),
LENNON (SPURS),
Milner (Villa),
Wright-Phillips (City),
Young (Villa).
Forwards -
Cole (West Ham),
CROUCH (SPURS),
Heskey (Villa),
DEFOE (SPURS),
Rooney (United).
I think it is good to see more Tottenham players in the england. TBH england are a good football side compared to my countrys team... Wales lol

no more fecking injuries please!!!
Oh - you want me to watch my mouth, how?
Take my ****in eyeballs out, and turn em around?
yeah how **** will we be if Crouch, Defoe and Lennon got injured
Happy days that overrated piece of trash Walcott didn't get in for a change!
Good to see Capello sticking to his word and great to see Young & Milner also get a call up.
"You score goals as a kid. Then you grow up stupid and become a goalkeeper."
notice there is not one scum player in there lol
Why did he call up 4 right wingers in Milner, Lennon, SWP and Becks? Honestly it's gonna be a waste of time for one or two of them. Hopefully it means Lennon won't play that much and won't get injured though.
COME ON YOU SPURS!!!
That is a World Cup winning squad if I ever see one...why does Capello continue to call up Heskey - what's so special about him? Lennon's and Defoe's form warrants a position in the starting line-up
Because Heskey has been superb for England & simply wins every ball that falls anywhere near him & almost always manages to find his strike partner. He is by far England's best, most experienced striker who can play that hold-up role, altho Carlton Cole looks to be his successor.
Personally, I'm thrilled to see so many Yiddos in the English team. Its very unlikely for them to be injured, especially in the friendly, & I would much rather they got match time than just sit around twiddling their thumbs for 2 weeks. They are just as likely to get injured in training anyway, so the only real concern is the Croatia game & I think we'll be OK.
I know he's picked a lot of RW but their is a lack of LW in this country & Capello no doubt sees Milner out on the left like he played the last time for England & did so well. It just means that every left winger we have actually favours their right foot but that is just the way it is these days.
I think Lennon is ahead of SWP so, depending on whether Capello wants to start Becks (which I think is unlikely whilst he is playing MLS), Aaron is almost certain to play at least 45min & he just needs to carry his Spurs form over onto the international stage.
