is it possible, that harry has discovered that giovanni dos santos, the young mexican winger is our superstar in waiting!, with o,hara out on loan ,a 1st team selection has now become more available to giovanni, there is no doubt that he has talent, and it looks likely he may get more games this season, his recent performances for his country have been outstanding, and there is no reason why he cant produce that for us, especially with "harry at the helm"! given the right set of circumstances, and some good guidance and coaching, dos santos could be a superstar, several big european clubs made enquries about him pre-season but spurs did,nt show any intrest in selling him!!!!!!!!, hopefully i,m right and we have a tottenham legend in the making?,,,,,,,,,,,,thfc4life.

With Luka possibly out for the season (Eduardo had the same injury) this could be Gio's chance. But, I don't think he's ready and think that we need to by a left midfielder

eduardo didn't have the same injury. He broke his tibia and fibula (both the bones in your shin) and dislocated his ankle.....

Modric has fractured his fibula. which is either a crack or a brake in one bone. I would suggest that it was a crack, as he walked off of the pitch......

back to gio......i would think that this is his chance, unless harry drops keano to the left.

Out for the season!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The same injury as Eduardo, they are completley different. Eduardo's foot was hanging off the bottom of his leg. Straight away they said he would be out for the rest of season and if could finish his career. The early indications are not where near as bad as this for Modric. Don't say things like that you could give me a heart attack.
Gio is going to play a lot more this season than last and it is going to be done to how much he wants it.

GDS has always had the talent, and the potential ability but his head is never in it. The guy dosnt want to train or improve, he's always out on the town and turning up late for training, 'Arry has said that himself. 'Arry wont give players a chance unless he thinks they deserve it. I think he'd rather buy a solution to our current injury crisis, GDS will still play cup games, but only through necessity. Maybe 'Arry think giving him a few games will get his head on track, who knows ......

I'd play keano wide left and floating a la modric, and if he's not productive, replace him with gio as an impact sub. This is the perfect time for the mexican to make himself a vital part of arry's plans, and save us a lotta money in the transfer window.I don't think many on here doubt his talent,it's his attitude that leaves a lot to be desired. There's no substitute for games, and this kid needs playing time,if he's given the opportunity and wastes it,he's only himself to blame. But let's at least give him a chance to stake his claim, cos if this kid is good enough to play for mexico, surely he's worth a punt, isn't he?

i think gio's attitude may be taking a turn for the good - i cant see him getting a full 90 in the carling cup and making the subs bench yesterday if he was not turning up to training and getting drunk etc. here's hoping he's turned a corner and comes good as a yid!

I have a feeling this attitude thing has been blown a little out of proportion. It was definitely an issue around the time of Gio's injury & I think he lost Harry's support a bit back then & he has since been behind everyone else.

However, there is no way he would've lasted 2 min at Ipswich under Roy Keane if his attitude was still as bad as we have heard suggested &, like has already been said, he wouldn't have started & played a full 90min in the CC either
      King and Bongani,

Will we stay or will we go now?
Will we stay or will we go now?
If we go there will be trouble
and if we stay we'll do the double
So Levy has got let us know
Will we stay or will we go!

On the bright side Woody, Dawson and Bale should soon be back. If we tighten up a bit more at the back and can get Keano, Bents or Gio to replace Modric for the 6 weeks he will be out. Of course we will miss Luka as he is our best player but with a bit of luck the rest of the lads will step up to the plate.

I think GDS was a complete cock and Arry wernt having a sniff of it.

I think sending him out on loan was part of the process of knocking the lad down to nuild him up stronger again.

I can deffo see him getting some more time while the croat is out and building up his match fitness.

He was such an emerging star when he joined it would be a shame for him to not get any real chances to prove what he does or doesnt have.
