1731: Sources from White Hart Lane report that Roman Pavlyuchenko was seen sprinting away from the ground a mere couple of minutes after full-time against Birmingham, flanked by two men in suits on mobile phones, the Russian jumping into a car and speeding away from the ground with haste. Is the he rushing to broker a move away from Tottenham?"

If this is true, it doesn't sound good. What's everyone make of this?
thats a weird one alright ,dont know what to make of it if im honest, doesnt look good does it ?
I just read that. Personally I'd like to see him stay as the more decent strikers we have the better. On the other hand he probably wants to be playing, not warming the bench and thats reasonable. I suppose...![]()

whats the rush lol?? not as if the transfer window shuts tonight! I hope he stays, he played a nice ball today and we wouldn't have won without him. Keep him!!!
My guess is that he is looking for a move back to Russia. I've seen random reports of the sort lately and the fact that he is 4th in the pecking order as far as strikers go could mean we'll soon be seeing the back of him!
Hey, if you are going to end your Spurs career now, at least get the game winning assist to Lennon to keep us atop the table!
Spurs striker, I thought the window closes on September 1st?
i hope he stays he is looking fresher this season already & the more strikers the better. maybe he had a dodgy ruby murray & doesn't like sharing a toilet?

Load of crap if you ask me... Why would he rush off straight after the game. The window is still open for a few days there's no need to run away straight after a game. Unless perhaps he's moving to some australian team, that would be different.![]()
well if its a russian team he would have to fly there, and if it didnt go through he would have to back for training monday.although im sure his agent would do all that.if hes flying somewhere it would only be to finalize something, and thats whats worrying me,im a big fan of his and i hope we hold onto him
we better be getting good money for him. if he goes i expect it to go straight back into the squad too.
i hope he is just late for dinner with his mrs !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i rate this player if he goes i'll be gutted
go on cut me....i bleed lily white blood
I can see why he'd be anxious to jet though, fellas. It's a World Cup year and he wants to make sure he retains his spot in the Russian squad. (not even sure how qualifying is going for Russia...) I personally think that whether or not he plays many minutes at Spurs he'd still be first choice with Guus but you never know. With Guus 'advising' him last term to leave Spurs, something may have finally struck a chord with Pav. I hope he stays with Spurs as he's a fabulous striker, but I'm not sure it will happen.
He got a brilliant reception at the Lane when he was just warming up on the touch line. The whole Lane were singing 'Super Pav'
He responded with his usual clapping to the fans.
Hope he stays but he was outshone in all departments by Crouch.

WE ARE N17
Good Evening, we will keep Pav if we can, but why he would stay to be
fourth striker when he wants to play in a World Cup is beyond me.
He has been here longer than any of the three strikers in front of
him, all Harry's signings.
He could walk into a lot of teams, so not sure he's going to be happy
with fourth choice for long...
When i first read that on the BBC website i thought it was some kinda joke.
Itz not. It wuldnt surprise me if they were off to go someone important but we shall see soon.
