Im moving to Preston in two weeks time for University and I would be interested in goin to some away matches while im over there!
I could get to places in the Lancashire area such as Bolton, Blackburn, Wigan, Liverpool, Everton,Man Utd and City etc.
How do I go about gettin tickets for these games, obviously in the Tottenham end!
Would I need to phone the club we are playing against or would I need to get in contact with the Spurs ticket office?
I could always sit in the home end as tickets may be easier to get, particularly at the smaller teams like Wigan,Blackburn, Bolton etc but it wouldnt be as fun as actually sitting with the Yids!

Some of the smaller matches you'll be able to get them on general sale, but being a member will give you a better chance of getting one. I think for games like Liverpool & Man.U you won't have much luck, as I assume all the season ticket holders will get them.

Preston game has been confirmed as Wednesday September 23rd 7.45 ko. Allocation is 3500 and tickets are £20. Reasonable allocation that is so I would think there may be some left that will go on general sale, especially with it being a midweek game. Members have got until 11th September to submit an application form so if you check the 'ticket office today' section of the website shortly after that date an update should appear on there if they go on general sale.
With regards to other games I usually have no probelm getting tickets through general sale for Bolton, Blackburn, Wigan and most years City. I've managed to get tickets for Everton last 2 years running but I think that is partly because each time it has fallen on a Wednesday night. I think City might be a different story this year given their rapid ascent! Liverpool and United forget it.
I'd advise against sitting with the home fans - unless you are good at keeping your trap shut. I did it at City once and ended up right near the Yids but right amongst all the City fans who'd sat there to purposely try and casue some bother with the Spurs fans. Huddlestone scored a screamer on the half volley from about 25 yards out and I let my guard down! What a mistayka to mayka!

How do I get an away ticket application? Or will they not be up on the site until they are on general sale?
