Right ok,
I have never been to the lane and i am hoping to get tickets for the stoke home game. I want to know what stand is the best to go with my son. This will probably be the last time me and my son will be going to the lane so i want to make it a game me and my son can remember. Also i have booked tickets for the burnley game so i want to know how i get there. i will be getting a train from north wales. Thanks
Park Lane / Shelf side is the best to go in for atmosphere.
Park Lane is the south stand and Shelf side is the area on the east stand closest to the south stand.
As for the train, I have absolutely no idea which way would be the quickest. The route I know off would be to go to Victoria (though Waterloo would be another option) and get the Victoria line to Seven Sisters & walk up high road. The Victoria line doesn't run from Waterloo, so you would have to switch over if you went there.
Alternatively you can go to Liverpool Street station, and catch a train to WHL station which is near enough next to the ground.

Hi Sion.
The paxton is the family stand ( North )
So this may be the best for you and your son, if you are for singing and a bit of banter park lane will be the best as Eighteen said.
For the best view( if you have the money), you would go to the west stand which has no atmosphere at all but good views.
For the Train journey, your best bet would be gettin to Liverpool Street Station, and get the overground to WHL station, again as eighteen82 said
I am goin to the stoke game aswell, and will be probably sit Park Lane lower
Hope this helps

North stand Upper for families.
I have season tickets up there and itz the best view
No doubt for atmosphere, Park Lane Lower.
"Modric could play in any team in the world in my opinion, he's a fantastic footballer, top, top class."
Park Lane block 45 for ultimate atmos and some cheeky banter with the away support, thats where i always try to sit.
Yeah the South Upper has to be it for me, as u get the view as well.
Block 34 would be good, but not as near to the drummer :P

North stand is family friendly...
East stand is great for the atmosphere and for me photograph opportunity...though to catch Aaron Lennon in action, seek blocks close to the North.
West stand is expensive, though queues for the loo is short...not a great place for photographs because you're looking stratight at the sun (15:00 kick-offs). Though if you want to ensure that your children aren't expose to swearing chants, west is best. Also, West Stand after the game, you have a chance to get Spurs players to sign autographs - great experience for kids.
Where ever you choose to sit - all games are great games...Stoke's not going to be easy as it sounds (top 6 right now).
Also, I think Stoke might be a family match which means 10% off at shops.
Thanks everyone you all helped me![]()
