SO what do we all make of it last night? AM sure you have all seen it now, he didn't really celebrate at all, hardly acknowleged he had scored to be honest.
So do you think it was a 'I don't even want to be here anyway, I could score 6 like that and would still not get a game at the weekend' reaction or a 'Well that proves nothing, I need to keep this up so I can get back in the first team' type of reaction?
Was hard to read but am hearing he put in a good shift so am hoping is the second, I would love to see him playing like he did at Blackburn as would, I'm sure, everybody else connected with the club, particularly Crouchie.
im not sure about it either.he might be a bit embaressed about the drink driving thing and didnt want to go runing around like a lunitic in case he thought it would look bad.it could be many reasons and it could be nothing, hard to know what goes through a footballers brain most of the time
I think it was more like 'HarHarHar... Now i am pretty much out of the door i manage to come up with the goods. Typical!'
Tottenham Hotspur - A Life Long Labour of Love.
I dont think we will sell him.
I think he has severe confidence issues at the minute and it could destroy him if he went somewehre else and it all fell apart again.
If he bides his time here with Arrys arm round him he may come good.
I haven't seen the match at all, but would love to think it's his way of saying thats the first of many more to come.
scoring against Doncaster to make it 4-0 hardly gets the adrenaline flowing compared to a goal in the league or a goal to put your team 1 up though does it?
Good Morning, I think he is down on himself at the moment.
Better for all if he moved on I feel. He is a good player but
regardless of his off the field antics it has not worked for
him here so far. Not sure if he is willing to fight for his place,
don't think it helped when he went to the papers early in the
summer saying he was off to Villa...
"Modric could play in any team in the world in my opinion, he's a fantastic footballer, top, top class."
hes not going anywhere..........
Just watched it on the replays, to be honest he acknowledges the crowd and his team mates, i think he was just wanting to get on with the game. He knows he got a lot of work to do to get his reputation back, probably just focusing on that.
Looked like a man at an all time low. Obviously feels stupid for the drink driving thing. Obviously is aware that a 4th goal at Doncaster isn't going to set the world alight.
Hopefully he stays, and he can get somewhere near his form at Blackburn. He's fantastic to have in the wings!
I don't blame him either, and actually I prefer that sort of thing. Score a goal, get back and try to score again.
