In 4 games this season we have scored 14 goals & had 11 different goal-scorers!!!
11 different goal-scorers in just 4 games is pretty incredible by anyone's standards but, for a team who appeared to be lacking a clinical edge in front of goal last season, it is unbelievable!
Not only that, but every position has scored. We've had a goal from a full-back, a centre-back, all 4 strikers, central midfield and from the wing. Literally all over the pitch!
I think it is hugely important that, if you want to do well, you need the whole team to chip in with goals & not to have to rely too heavily on our strikers

Would be nice of Modric could get some goals, he deserves it, hitting the post several times and all.
But great start goal wise to the season avg'n one goal a game conceaded is always good!

Agree with you entirely Bass. It really is good to see that goals are coming from numerous players.
It definately gives the guys a lift and makes life hell for the opposition.
Defoe, Crouch, Pavlyuchenko, Keane, O'Hara, Bentley, Huddlestone, Palacios, Assou-Ekotto, Bassong, Lennon
All of them have scored at least 1 in just our 1st 4 games. I'm still trying to get my head around that! Looking back at season's gone by only emphasizes the impressiveness of that statistic.
Last season the scorers in our 1st 4 games were: JJ, Bent . . . that's it!!!
in 2007/8 they were: Gardner, Bent, Malbranque, JJ
2006/7: Berbatov, JJ
2005/6 (1 of our best starts ever in the Premier League & the season we fractionally missed out on 4th place): Defoe, Mido
I could go on but I don't think I'll get anywhere near 11 different goalscorers in 4 games
