Spurs observations

if you dont know im not exactly a spurs fan and i have been following tottenham and this website because of Palacios, but after watching the 3 games i have realized that the Spurs are becoming one of my favorite teams and i think it is because of how well each player on the team compliments each other.

This team feels different, when i look at Real Ma, Chealse or another giant i see teams full of players getting paid to play but when i see tottenham i surprisingly see a family and I dont know why. It feels to me that tottenham is part of a disney movie, where every player of the team has a different personality, role (the funny one, the leader, the young and naive one,you guys know what i mean) and background but when the get together to play they do it so fittingly. i really enjoy watching them play.

the sad thing is that i really, really believe that the following 4 players in your team will leave on the next 2-3 seasons to Barca, Real Ma, Man U, Arsenal, Ac MIlan, Inter, Chealse, Liverpool, JUventus or Bayern Muni. because they appear to be the pillars in your team and they just look downright awesomely good.

I think what you mean is we actually look like a team now. Tbh it is your man Palacios that has bought it all together, he really was the missing piece of the jigsaw.
I hope you are wrong about losing our star players because we are on the verge of something great at Spurs.

Manure are already making noises about Modric. I hope Levy stands up to that tyrannical old parasite Fergie and tells him where to stick his money. If we continue selling our best players to other teams in the top 4 we will never get there, it's as simple as that.

I said this elsewhere, we won't be losing anyone.

We have a team of proper professionals now & Modric, Lennon, JD & Pal are all perfect examples of that. The reason that teams 'lose' their best players to bigger sides is because those players take control of the situation by acting unprofessionally. Can you really see Palacios throwing a hissy fit like Berbatov & refusing to play? Anyway, Defoe & Lennon won't be going anywhere soon, they bleed Lilywhite. It is important to have these sorts of players in the side also as their passion for the badge rubs off on the newbies. When Ramos sold the big "Tottenham-ites" such as Defoe & Keane (who had already betrayed his Spurs reputation by admitting he was a Red) it heavily influences the others in the team. Berbatov will have been effected & probably thinking "If JD, Tainio & Keane, the 3 who are Spurs thru & thru, are leaving, what am I doing here?"

We are not a small club. We are around the top 10 richest clubs in the world. We do not need to sell &, as long as we have our best players tied down to long contracts, we won't sell. Harry is no pushover & he will never sell his best players without already securing a like-for-like improvement. Anyway, he doesn't even need to worry himself because the players all love playing for him. They will only move if Harry says they can go, & that ain't gonna happen!

I'm glad you are enjoying Tottenham. However, it is partly to do with us being a 'team' in the way you suggest, but it is more likely to do with a subliminal appreciation of our traditions. 'New' fans always warm toward Arsenal or Barcelona because they think they play nice football. Tottenham have historically played beautiful football & it is therefore synonymous with our name. Now that we are once again playing football as it should be played, it just feels right. It feels as tho things are back as they should be.

Rumour is that Lennon has been causin some disruption around the training ground as he thinks he is the dogs boll*cks. This has upset the Spurs staff as well as the true professionals such as Wilson and Luka.

If we do in fact start something good at Spurs there will be no desire for them to leave. Champions League football is the only thing Spurs cannot offer at the moment. If that changes then there is no reason for people to leave.
