Is he going out on loan or is Harry going to give him a shot this year. I don't know why he seems to be out of favor. He looks great for Mexico and when he has played for Spurs he has looked pretty good as well. I don't understand why clubs aren't giving him a chance. He also looked good at Barca when he played. What is going on with him?
How come he is not playing?
Why have you posted the same thread twice?
Sorry, I thought I made an error in my first post because I didn't see it show up. How do I delete one of them?
Also, can you answer my question?
He isn't playing because we are 3-0 without him. Harry clearly doesn't feel he is one of the strongest players on the team at the moment.
And he isnt on loan and we have no reserves team... Just rotting away not playing.
LOL, Gio is turning into Wally
every couple of weeks a new thread pops up asking "where's Gio?"
Well, he was at Spurs Lodge the other day for the club's photos & he looked like he was happy enough. I'm sure we'll see him at some point, perhaps even midweek against Doncaster. Just be patient & if he works hard & shows he's worth it, & if an opportunity arises, I'm sure he'll get a game & it's up to him to take it.
Nobody gets a starting place here on merit or reputation anymore. Look at Peter Crouch, hasn't even started yet & he was this summers big signing
King and Bongani,
King and Bongani bong!!
(watch out here they come!)
Will we stay or will we go now?
Will we stay or will we go now?
If we go there will be trouble
and if we stay we'll do the double
So Levy has got let us know
Will we stay or will we go!
Rafael, Van Der Vaart
ƒuck Chelsea & Frank Lampard
with a nick-nack paddywhack he'll be getting goals
when Lampard's too fat & old
COYSAFOYS
Who should he replace?
Gio hasnt even been at the squad. I've watched him in all his international matches for Mexico and he has been class. He creates quite a bit and seems to always been on the receiving end of some very nice passes. Gio can be a hassle for defenders when he is in the right mind. Though he is better on the right i believe he is still a valuable member of the squad. Would like to see him in more matches.
This is where I get a little concerned about the no reserve team situation. Yes GDS will probably get a game against Doncaster as will a lot of fringe players but they have nil competitive match action coming into it. Doesn't make a great deal of sense.
With GDS I am not exactly sure how much time he had off in the Summer, seemed to be with Mexico a great deal. If he wasn't in Harry's plans think he would have been whisked off to Ipswich or the like on loan again.
Gio is a very good back up striker should we get any injuries , i certainly dont want to sell him so he starts banging goals past us for another club . Too good to sell , but slightly shy of a starting place imo .
im sure i saw him on the bench against the spammers, lets hope he (and others) get a chance in the carling cup...
TOTTENHAM 'TIL I DIE!
He wasn't in the first team when we signed him due to his attitude. He missed training sessiones a nd was seen to be drunk, Harry doesn't take these things lightly, he has to earn back his respect.
That's cool. I'm just glad it sounds like he is not going anywhere. With Lennon on the right and Dos Santos on the left we can be lethal.
