answer............john bostock
if we keep jenas then gradually bring bostock in to replace him throughout the season it means we dont hve to sign anybody and promise them a first team place for years to come
start bringing through bostock into the team, first the carling cup games, then putting him on the bench for the premier league and then giving him a run out in the last 10 minutes of big games and then start him and give him a run of games towards the end of next season
the masterplan will hopefully work and then we can release jenas

I must approve your thoughts there!
Thing is...Under Ramos some players really where crap, and where really unconsistent, but now the players are getting back their form...
Coooome oooon yoooou spuuuurs, cooome ooon yooou spuuurs.
If we gte offered 15 million for JJ he is as good as on the fookin plane lads make no mistake.
With that 15 bigguns we can invest in a left winger allowing Modders to do the job he was brought for with Palacios.
We can still use Bossy in the way you have mentioned in a bit part roll with Modric as opposed to JJ.
I'd rather Bostock learned his trade form Modric than JJ in all honesty
Personally i wouldnt give 5 Mil for Jenas let alone 15mil, but a lot of managers out there really rate him, but i cant just see it myself, i must take my blinkers off![]()
hear ya mate but he can do that no matter who is regular 1st choice.
JJ, Modders, Alonso, Inesta......................... We do need more depth.
with JJ playing well, we'll probably get about as much for him now as ever- I'm not sure it would even take 15 mil for Harry to cut him loose...I don't think Bostock is as far away from starring for us as others do- I look for him to contribute in certain types of matches next year, whether JJ is here or not.
I would settle for 3 mil. for Jenas.
i think parrett looks as good a prospect as JB. Both play in a slightly different manner, with dean being a more combative midfield general, and bostock pushing slightly further forward. thing is, unless we make serious strides in the next 3/4 years we will struggle to hold on to these upcoming talents.
I bet Jenas would go for more than 3 mil -- he's an English player for one thing with occasional appearances for the nat'l team and he's been in good form of late. Plus, he's the kind of player who seems to have more potential than he maybe actually does have...
The rumors about Mourinho wanting him are still going around. I thought Mourinho denied all that? Is the swap for Muntari really a possibility?
You know it'll be like a lot of other players and as soon as we sell Jenas (if we do...) he'll consistently perform well in every game and we'll be left scratching our heads!
