In cases like that the player should be red carded and serve a 3 match ban, the goal that was scored from the resulting penalty should be disallowed and the players team should have 3 points deducted even if they won after the goal was disallowed. This should happen even after the game is finished and the ref's performance is looked at. The ref should also answer a few questions along with the linesman. That will soon stop the divers and cheaters in the game.

That`s not a dive. It is obvious there was some ice on the pitch and he slipped. The rain was falling the entire day, and the temperatures in Brazil go to -10 degrees celsius during the summer. Unlucky really.
