Seriously I looked it up this season 24 apps, 1 goal. Ok thats all well and good at his age but that doesnt make me play of the year, if he wasnt playing for the scum that is united then he would never of got it.
Its also a disgrace how they got 6 players in the team of the year! 6!! Ferdinand , Evra, Van de sar, Vidic, Ronaldo, Giggs, Ferdinand... what the hell!?
The bumlicking and brownnosing of united by pretty much everyone is driving me absolutely mental seriously they are just marginley less scummy than the gooners.
In my opinion the award should of gone to Gerrard but with 6 players nominated and 5 of em dirty scummy man u players what did I expect.
Man U have played terrible all season and yet almost half the squad are nominated its PATHETIC.
This team is a like a leech on football sucking the fairness and good spirit right out of it and this weekends goings on just sum it all up, from our game to this award.
Not sure about everyone else but I have HAD IT with man utd and just want them to GO AWAY!!!

Its a joke, and it makes light of what players like Vidic have actually achieved this season. Ashley Young for Young player of the year award...how does that work, when he's been poo since February. His goal at the weekend was his first since November!
So, if you want to win a PFA award, either be old, wear red, or only play well until the votes are cast in Feb!
ludicrous absolute joke !!! united represent everything i dislike about football , yes giggs deserves an award - life time achievement award or something like that .... but PFA footballer of the year? what has giggs done this season to justify that ? nothing most games he comes on as a sub .

i cant beleave that giggs got pfa player of the year what a fix he has spent most of the season coming of the bench i take it refs made the decision because they give the manc ba----ds evertthink
I dunno how he won this.
He has done well for a coffin dodger but there must be better players over the whole season.
I think Gerrard is a decent shout as could have been Torres.
TBH I am strugling to think of one stand out player this season.

I too think Lampard has been outstanding this season. Also Essian would of been a good shout too.
Sadly, I can't think of any Spurs players that have stood out this season.
lennon has stood out for me he has had a great season
Giggs what a joke he has only started 12 times the rest have been sub appearances ..he is a world class player but not the best this season no way.
I think stephen ireland has had a blinding season & alonso,torres,gerrard from liverpool,mikel arteta at everton.
I was gonna suggest Essien but thought he'd been injured for a big part of the season (could be and usually am wrong).
Dunno bout fat Frank tbh his is one lucky "mo fo".
Couldnt argue about Alonso much to be fair. Cant believe fat Rafa wanted him out and Barry in, what a complete mug.
Frank Lampard cos he has had two managers in one season - and has been perfroming 100% for both of them. - scoring goals,assists, sticking to tactics - plus in some ways keeping the team together and being a leader when Terry has been fcuking about.
Every World class manager has loved having him in his team from Ranieri, Mourinho, Grant, Scolari and Hiddink.
The references on his CV speaks volumes about the player...

Giggs will always be the player remembered for winning the most ridiculous PFA award ever. He has to wake up every morning thinking about this farcical award and that every single person who loves football knows he didnt deserve it.
I say well done Giggs on winning the most one sided Manure loving award of the season. I would like to say you deserve it but like most things Manure win it is handed to them on a plate by the FA and this award is no different.
Giggs should be embarrassed!!!
