I have already e mailed the referees association and the premier league and i would suggest everybody does the same!!!!

This ref is due to take charge of the cup final!!!

I would urge Liverpool fans, Chelsea fans, Everton fans to also petition the premier league to suspend Mr webb from anything other than the blue square premier or the ryman league!!!!

We need camera replays now!!! These are overdue!!! although he didn't need a replay to call that one it was obvious!!!

I've said a similar thing in another thread, I'm furious about the refereeing decisions today but I think we have to accept a little bit of bad luck and the fact that we fell apart after the penalty.
I don't want to stand up for the man who was clearly on utd's team today but a little stat
Howard Webb has issued 4 red cards this season, 2 of them being to Utd players - Vidic and ronaldo both for second cautions. I don't know the stat on penalties given I'm sure it's more in utd favour than that one is but when we've calmed down from the game the mass conspiracy theories will start to seem less feasible. Utd are bent, just not sure how they're doing it.

1 penalty. 1 free kick which led to the third goal. No showing of a card for Ronaldo for taking Lennon off his legs with a lash out of aggression. No card for Scholes for taking someone out various times. A team that should be 2-0 up and 11 versus 9... well, I'd be annoyed as well and we were running smooth and solid at the back until the penalty. You can't say he only gave them 1 goal. After that it gave them the balls to attack more and Spurs to sit back and try to soak it up and still ponder why it was a penalty...

It wasn't just the non penalty! Ronaldo should have been off with two yellows - the first for his petulant trip of Lennon in the first half and the second for throwing his shirt into the crowd, what did he get? Nothing!!!
The second goal came from a free kick that should have been awarded to us! This guy is just unbelievable - and it's not the first time he has cost us points this season with his appaling decisions.
In Harry's words, "If this is England's top ref I'd hate to see the worst."
Where is the quality assurance procedure for EPL refs???
I am normally a calm, peaceful guy but I want nothing more than to smash Howard Webb in the face!!!

Rafaelshould have been sent off. Woody got booked for 'blocking' Ronaldo in the first half, Rafael did exactly the same to Modric a number of times and we didn't even get a ****ing freekick for it.

yes we capitulated!!!

I'm not saying that the other 4 goals were the refs fault but his decision gave momentum to man utd and got them a footing in the game that they didn't really have!!!

It was a poor decision by an established ref who is due to take charge of the FA showpiece occasion very soon!!!!!

I am just urging people to express their views to the hierachy!!! In the hope something will be done!!!

Im sorry but for anyone saying it was only for the first goal, wel watch how many dirty fouls the mancs got away with for the first 25mins in the second half untill they were in the lead. We also got called up on everything. He was disgusting in the second half and im all for signing a petition as i dont no if he bottled it under the pressure or he was paid at half time but it was definatly one of the 2.

Even Craig Burley, who is usually as anti-Spurs as Mr. Gray, said "I'm not sure about this referee today" after he said Ronaldo should have been carded, then he was adamant about the penalty being wrong & then he saw a terrible tackle from behind on Bent which was waved play on, at which point he had to comment on the quality of the refereeing.

The 1st goal was Webb's fault but also the 3rd came from a move started from a free-kick that was again from a fair tackle.

You have to say that without the penalty & those few blatant decisions either side it would have been a very different story, we were distracted by some appalling refereeing

I have to say that we seemed to give up a bit & that 5th goal should not have gone in as JJ & Gomes appeared to just let Berba stick it in the net.

Not happy with either Ekotto or Corluka's defending tho.
