It's not just the Prem which is an unfair league. It's the whole world of football and it makes me wonder "how do i love this game when it has so much cheating?". The only answer to that is because i love Spurs more than anything.

Unfair yes but I think we have to accept that sometimes decisions go against you, sometimes they go for you. Yes today was an absolute shambles re the refereeing and I agree it's amazing that the decisions at OT do seem suspiciously to go their way ALL the time. But we still managed to fall apart after the penalty, I don't think we would have reacted that badly if they'd scored not from a penalty but we still fell apart and let in another 4 goals. Not just the penalty decision was bad, there were innumerable appalling decisions today, unlucky- definitely, unfair-yes, dodgy-maybe remains to be seen, but it's not just Webb who gives utd lucky decisions, if it is dodgy it seems to be across the board
Redknapp-"winning's a great habit"
Done once for match fixing, I wouldn't be surprised if they continued in their cheating ways.
i agree it doesnt matter what team it is nobody gets dicisions in manchester the refs are too scared to give anythink against them
i agree that sometimes u get decisions against you and sometimes for you
BUT WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME WE GOT A DECISION FOR US?
there is no football god
"It's about getting the best out of the lads and confidence. Life is about confidence. Whatever you do in life, if you are not confident you don't perform. It's up to me to get the confidence running through the players and if I can get that instilled you'll see a team that will really play." - Harry Redknapp - 29/10/2008
At Blackburn.
However, that illustrates my point I made elsewhere in this forum, it's not so much that the penalty went against us but more the complete farce the decision was & the fact that even after making a complete hash of it, Webb continued to blow in favour of United.
The penalty we got in Blackburn was not a penalty. However, it did hit the player's hand & the ref made a snap decision which he got wrong. He then spent the rest of that game trying to make up for that decision by giving Blackburn the majority of them.
This was different. It was not only blatant, it was very good play that got punished. The ref was so far away he should not be giving penalties anyway because there would have been no way he could be 100% sure if it had been a close decision but it was not, it was clear as day even from where he was on the field. He knew that Gomes had not fouled Carrick because he would surely have had to issue a red card otherwise. He then went to give us a free-kick but decided to wave play on because United went on an attack! How does that figure? They then scored their 2nd! Then their 3rd Wilson won the ball again in a perfectly clean challenge & a free-kick was given to United from which they attacked & scored. I'm not even sure their 4th goal even crossed the line. I watched it in slow-mo & it was not too clear whether the WHOLE BALL crossed. I would not be surprised if the officials got that wrong too. In between a United player slid in thru the back of Bent & the ref waved play on, Ronaldo kicked out at Lennon, the decisions continuously went in United's favour even after the penalty & that is what makes it feel so unfair.
Over the course of the season some decisions will go for you & some against (a statement that I've said elsewhere I do not like) but over the course of 1 game at least something should go your way!

Bentley vs. Arsenal 4-4
Rose vs. Arsenal 2-1
Seeing all the yidos smiling at last- Priceless
for me it was a clear pen and after that he only did decisions against us there is no way thats fair :x
The first and third goals for Man U were due to poor calls. The other three were due to the players letting it get in their heads rather than bucking up and using the 11 on 12 situation as motivation. The leadership on the team needs to take hold of a situation like that and motivate the other players. I'm down two cents.
EDIT - the ref did tick me off though.
