From everything I've found, we're talking to all these keepers as Harry isn't quite sure Cuidicini as a back up..

Way Gomes is playing I can't see us pushing him out.

I can't see us getting rid of Gomes, it looks like he has come good.

I'm not 100% confident about him collecting the aerial balls. He always comes out and then tracks back, and if a shot comes in he is caught on his heels - very hard to save/dive from that position.

Still, he is a strong keeper.

Anyway, rumour has it that its Cudicini who'll be off, not Gomes. The rumour is that Carlo signed for us believing he'd be 1st choice. They reckon he included a "gentlemen's agreement" in his contract which would allow him to seek a new club if he was not happy with his starting opportunities. People are now suggesting that Carlo Cudicini will be joining Newcastle! That's only if he can knock Steve Harper from his No.1 spot but if he plays up there like he did for us against Hull, I don't see that happening!

Eldin isn`t very good keeper, Gomes and Cudicini are far better than he.
But if Cudicini is going to leave Spurs, Jakupovic is good enough to be the second keeper.

Were you watching the same game as us? Gomes kept us 2-0 up in the first half, and although he was at fault for a couple of the goals in the 2nd half, it could have been much worse.

Can't blame him for not saving a penalty. Sure, he could have done better after that but he made some marvellous saves in the first half.
