It seems Sir Alex has been having a little whinge about those nasty people who organise the televised fixtures.
"If we were to play on the Saturday it would have to be lunchtime, which was crazy."
"As usual, TV have not done us any favours", bemoaned Fergie (forgetting to mention the cool £22.8 million annual revenue in the kitty).
"We have spoken about it time after time but there is nothing you can do about it."
That is, unless you get the game switched to a Sunday afternoon... and let some other poor saps play in the early Saturday slot (ie us and Blackburn)
"It would have been a big task to play at lunchtime" said the afflicted one, as the violins reached a weeping crescendo.
Good job our boys have had a nice break recently, eh?

Weird Ditch. I only started a thread on this exact thing about midday fixtures earlier today. I hadn't even read Fergie's comments, I was just contemplating the awkwardness us Yids have in getting to the game tomorrow! I have to say that I agree with him.
Its a joke tho that United get their fixture moved & somebody else has to take their place. In a way, at least I get to see the Spurs on the telly but I really feel for the travelling fans.
As far as I know, Modders did not actually play for Croatia, which may or may not be a good thing for us
