Hey just been watching some video's of Ukraine today ahead of tonights match with them, and i gotta say i'm impressed, they look like a good team! they have not lost a game for a year!!. I think we gotta becareful against them tonight, i think we will win but i think it's gonna be hard, we are not gonna walk over them. They have a player called Nazarenko and he looked very dangerous.
I think we need a good start tonight, if we can get any early goal that will be great, if we don't get an early goal it could be tricky. i hope Lennon scores.
I think it will be a tough game aswell. On skysports new the Ukraine manager was saying "england have alot of weka points and we will exploit them".
Holy Cow... the Ukraine manager sounds like Ivan Drago (Rocky 4).
Their recent results are:
Serbia 1-0 win
Slovakia 3-2 win
Norway 1-0 win
Croatia 0-0 Draw
Kazakhstan 3-1 win
Belarus 1-0 win
Poland 1-0 win
Sweden 1-0 Win
Holland 0-3 Loss
Apart from Croatia and Holland they really havent played any one of merit.
The player to keep an eye on tonight is Tymoschuk for me. He is a fantastic midfielder with a good engine and great vision. He will try and run the game and it will be up to Lampard or Barry to stop him getting into his stride.
3-0 England.
"There's a fine line between madness and genius - God removed that line and replaced it with Gazza"
i still dont think we are playing that well under capello yet, we've made strides in terms of confidence and results, but we still dont keep the ball well enough to compete with the big boys.
i expect a win, but theyre certainly no mugs.
Voronin may not be the best forward in the world but he's in form. He's got 8 goals in his last 7 club games so he'll be a danger. Gerrard vs Tymoschuk in the midfield promises to be quite a battle!
COME ON YOU SPURS!!!
Has anyone heard of a player called Nazarenko? when i watched Ukraine highlights on youtube he seemed to be the guy that was scoring all their goals
You`ll have no problems with them if you play to your potential. We (Croatia) played them away, and we were significantly better. Official MOTM was Ukraine keeper. And it was after that game we took a beating from England. They are at least a class below Croatia, meaning England too. They are a decent side with some good players. But realistically speaking they are no match for Croatia and especially England.
we should have a english coach it not right having a italian in gharge of our national team even though we at the moment are winning 1-0
Dmytro Chygrynskiy the long haired centre back is a very good prospect, he was the shaktar captain when we played them i believe. Liverpool were supposedly after him in January. At 22, I wouldn't mind him as a long term replacement for either of our CBs.
signed him on fm great player:P
To be honest, as long as the players are English, it shouldn't really be a problem.
If we were going to go down this route we would need to make sure all the players had boots and shinpads made by English companies, an English washing machine to clean the kits and a team bus made by Rolls Royce. Although they're owned by Germans now, aren't they?
