Who was Tottenham Hotspurs last big name signing, no I'm not talking about players that cost us a lot of money (Darren Bent), I'm talking about players who are well known through the world. I think our biggest name recently was Edgar Davids... Wish he never left, he was sucha player!

Modric is a big name but what I think you mean is a world class player and when he signed for spurs everyone was completly shocked! Like Klinsmann to Spurs or Teves to West Ham! I would also say Davids!
