im warming to bent and only wish him luck
yeah im glad for him and ive still got a bet on for him to finish premiership top scorer after his blistering form in pre-season, im sure he can do it
I think Bent is better than the England strikers that are got dropped due to injury anyway (Owen not included... but who knows if he can play anymore).
I guess 'arry's wife had other plans for Wednesday.
Good Morning, Good Luck to Darren, hope he gets a game.
He has worked so hard for the team in recent games, he
deserves a chance.
i guess his goal record means he deserves a call up but come off it hes no way near International quality lol
I think it shows what a poor selection of strikers we currently have at the moment, good luck to the boy anyway.
F*ck Stratford!!!!
Good lick Darren you deserve it!
P.S, why do people give him ****? hes our leading goal scorer and he plays off the bench most of the time, i bet we have won more games that he has started in, then when we have started Pav
Dawson for skipper!
I no im not Bents biggest fan but i was thinking the same thing. Even before Bent got a call up!
Heskey and C.Cole should not be good enough for England but they somehow are. That to me shows how far behind England now are on previous teams. Crouch is acceptable but not a starter so that only leves Defoe and Rooney who are any good.

lets hope bent shines for england. i thought rooney played very good against slovakia
heskey is more than capable of playing for england mate, would he have accumulated 50 odd caps if he wasnt?
maybe this'll be the shot of confidence he needs- he has been playing better of late...
good for bent
can only wish him well, hope he shines under the circumstances
all ive got to say ha ha ha ha ha i take they cant get any other strikers they must be desperate
