Just interested in learning what made you guys a Spurs fan.
My story's easy.
My dads a life long fan, as was his dad. I didn't get a say in it. He tells me my first word was Spurs. I switch to Leeds once, when I was a kid. I came home from school and told my dad now I support Leeds (I had all their team in my Panninni sticker book). I ripped out the Leeds pages, put me in the back of his cab and drove me to the shop and bought 20 quids worth of stickers until I had the rest of the Spurs team. Done and done. I grew up in a street full of Arsenal fans and with stories of the double team.

Very proud family tradition 4 generations .
My Uncle bought me some shares in Tottenham when I was very young. I grew up with the certificate on my bedroom wall and when the time came to pledge my allegiance, I chose the mighty Spurs! My old man was gutted he wanted me to follow Leeds (dodged a bullet there I reckon!)
Dad was born and bred in Tottenham.
Before i get into football, about 10/11 years old, i chose arsenal, to annoy my dad..yes I know..
Kinda stopped watching football for about a year, arsenal didn't interest me. So my dad took me to a spurs game (Cant remember what..). Ever since then, I've been a fan![]()
Dad's a Spurs fan, although my grandad was a West Ham fan.
My Dad, Grandad had trials with Spurs and Chavs. Grandad was a huge fan, didnt play because he earnt more money working in a factory, such a shame.
My Grandads cousin (im sure they are cousins or something like 2nd cousins) played pro football though, you may of heard of him, Gerry Francis.

When i was a sprog (Ahem) i actually liked manure.
Then came the late 60s and i happened to go see Spurs, v Leeds i think - Jack Charlton, Gary Sprake, Lorimer etc, a good side way back when.
Anyway long story short i`ve been Tottenham ever since and always will be no matter what happens to the club good or bad.
Oh just for the record that Leeds game was 1 - 1![]()

My dad supported Arsenal and Exeter because he was born in London and then played for Exeter City. But somehow I ended up being a spurs fan when I was very young and he gave me a lot of stick for that.
I have a bit of a different scenario. When I became interested in football, I just started to watch whatever games I happened to be able to find... living in the US this is usually Chelsea or Man U. I decided I wanted to adopt a team as my own, so I started to think about what team I wanted to root for. I quickly decided I didn't want to root for one of the "big" teams because they are too much like the New York Yankees. I then decided to root for a London team, as it was the only place in England where I have spent much time. From there... I picked Spurs largely because of Robbie Keane and I have been a fan since.
My Dad supported them, his Dad supported them.
Football is my religion,
White Hart Lane is my church.
1987 FA cup final ..... we lost 3-2 to coventry !!! i started supporting spurs then .
it seemed all my mates were supporting manure and the bin dippers !!! thanks but no thanks.

I was born in Philip Lane near Seven Sisters, moved when I was young and have supported Spurs all my life (50 odd years) - I used to go to WHL a lot in the 70's then stopped for a while now regular with ParkLaneMal - my mate from work.
I'm YID thru and thru !!
My dad took me to the Lane in the early 60's. So I have seen a few players come and go. Both my kids are Yids. My daughter has been going since she was 14, she is now 29 and is also a season ticket holder and my son is Park Lane Yid.
