Good Afternoon, wonder what you think our priorities should
be with the important games coming our way...
We have Burnley on Wednesday night in The Carling Cup Semi,
Manchester United in the FA Cup away at Old Trafford Saturday,
followed by Stoke at home next Tuesday, Bolton away the following
Saturday, both in The Prem.
I think we still need a fairly experienced team at Burnley in case
we were to encounter early goals from the home team. Maybe rest
players if the game starts to look safe. For the Cup game at
Old Trafford I'd rest as many as possible, and concentrate on the
next two games in The Prem, especially the Stoke game at home
which is on the Tuesday after our trip to Manchester. Stoke City
are out of The Cups, and can now rest up until next Tuesday's visit
to The Lane.
League seems the most important at the moment, what would you do
if you were Harry?
i just think we should forget about the fa cup this season a league cup final would suit me again and least its a road into europe
My priorities would be:
Prem
League Cup
Europe
FA.
Play the second team against Manure, and rest the main squad for the premiership survival attempt.
we dont need a run in the fa cup if we ge to lc final, as long as the prem is our priorty it dont really matter, and as long as were not relying on darren bent to score the winner !!
I think we should give some of the kids a run against united. Tarabt, Dos Santos, Bostock etc. Would be nice to do well but we have to concentrate on the PL. I would also play Bent against united...
Tottenham Hotspur - A Life Long Labour of Love.
I know it sounds wrong but the cups give us more spending power , plus i get an excuse to go to see more football , but , and it is a big but , i couldn't bear the unthinkable . So that said , the 12 games that we still have to play in the UEFA cup can put pay to our survival , - that probably equates to around 24 mil with tv rights included . If we get nothing out of the cups and still dont survive , i dont think i could go out in my own town , such would be the ridicule . I had already had enough with the start of the season - 2 points from 8 games - and we're still paying the price for that . Premiership survival is a must - but i dont see the hunger in the players . Watch us against burnley and tell me its the same team . They're infected with the same cup fever we had last season . I could almost guarantee us a cup the way we play in em , Lets hope they have the forethought to remember that a cup coupled with rerlegation is not classed as success .
imagine if we did the triple! ! !
. . . and then got relegated ! ! !![]()
King and Bongani,
King and Bongani bong!!
(watch out here they come!)
Will we stay or will we go now?
Will we stay or will we go now?
If we go there will be trouble
and if we stay we'll do the double
So Levy has got let us know
Will we stay or will we go!
Rafael, Van Der Vaart
ƒuck Chelsea & Frank Lampard
with a nick-nack paddywhack he'll be getting goals
when Lampard's too fat & old

i think if it was anyone apart from man u it would be worth trying - but even our best side is unlikely to get anything at old trafford - im sure harry will still field a strong side but i do hope he doesn't overwork lennon, modric, defoe as we will need them for stoke and bolton for sure.
I would go all out for the CC, field the kids in the FA Cup, a mixture of kids and experience in the UEFA but pull out all the stops for every league game.

If you can keep your head when all around you are losing theirs and blaming it on you ... you probably haven't a clue what's going on!
staying in the prem is no.1 on my list and the ONLY priority for me.
if i was harry redknapp i would leave out all the players that were carrying knocks against pompey (charlie, lennon, gomes, pav), let ghaly, taraabt, bostock, gunter etc do the buisiness against burnley, the tie is effectively dead. if they go 2 goals up have some first teamers on the bench to see the game out. FA cup, forget it, i'd rather we conceded the game 3-0. Stoke and Bolton are MASSIVE games we need at least 4 points from those, prefferably 6 but i cant see it unless we make some signings.
You lads have summed it up TBH.
You have to ask ya selves the question. "if we won the FA cup and the League cup would it make relegation taste any sweeter"? My opinion is no..........far, far from it!!!
Agreed that the Kids should have an outing in the FA cup and that we need to have enough at Burnly to get a result.
Stoke and Bolton are the priority and the lads that are playing with knocks should be rested for those games.
