there's a term for what he does. it's called tapping up.

every single player he wants to sign he has to go running his mouth off to the press about them

defoe, bellamy, palacios, downing, adriano, the list goes on forever.

has it never occured to the dozy prick that the other clubs might have wanted to keep their discussions private.

i cant stand the man and he's turning your club into a ****ing embarassment.

Oh come on, are we really naive enough to think that SSN/The Mail/other media outlets get their stories out of thin air?

Is it a massive coincidence that Redknapp has a 'great' relationship with the press? Allegations about dodgy dealings in the transfer market aside.....

He may be a good manager, but that shouldn't blind anybody from the fact that he is as dodgy as they come when it comes to transfers. Was at Pompey, is at Spurs.

Having said that, I also believe that a lot of other Premier League managers are going off whinging now for little or no reason. Sbragia is the prime example of this today. Offer made, they rejected it, what does he want? Nothing to get reported about it? That's unrealistic.

Even so, I don't like the way Redknapp conducts his transfer dealings. On the Bellamy question, I think its highly - and I mean HIGHLY - innappropriate for Redknapp to make the comments he has. Irresponsible actually.
