we shouldn't get rid of him.

i reckon JJ is a very good player
and is key when in form
he just needs to find it again
and by giving him games he will hit top notch
Appiah Jenas Modric... i like it
why not throw edmilson into the mix as well seeing as he is out of favour at villareal

Mate, seriously, I've stuck up for him probably more than I should in the past, but that doesn't stop me from seeing how utterly cack he can be for long, long periods. And I don't mean long periods of one game, I mean five/six/seven plus games in a row!

JJ thinks hes made it at spurs. He obviously has talent, but he has naught ambition, drive or determination.

100% spot on. Typical modern footballer, not hungry enough. More concerned about his wheels than his club.

Jenas has had his chance as far as I'm concerned. Ok at attacking on his day, but he only has that day 5 or 6 games a season. At the time we signed him I remember wishing we were getting Kieran Dyer instead. If we're building the team around Modric like Harry says then we need someone solid to do the tackling. Jenas can't tackle well, and loses concentration too easily e.g. the Wigan goal. Time to move him on, I'd play Huddlestone over Jenas every game.

I totally agree. In the right situation, he could be brilliant, but it ain't at the Lane. He is actually the one player I wouldn't mind seeing on the way out, even though I'm not convinced we should be looking to sell many players...

I've stuck up for JJ in the past but I'm beginning to lose patience as well. If we could use him as a make weight in a deal to get someone better I'd be all for it.
If you can keep your head when all around you are losing theirs and blaming it on you ... you probably haven't a clue what's going on!

      Great argument made there mate
If your going to defend this useless git then state exactly what he offers Spurs because since hes signed hes probably had about 20 decent games with the rest hes up to his usual tricks ie square passes, bad positioning at set plays, lack of general effort and so on and so...............
We have to stop accepting mediocre players, hes time is well and trully up as Harry himself has hinted.
I wash my hands with the bloke and if Wigan or AC Milan want him then be my guest, while he plays at Spurs il support him but hes isnt up to the job in midfield.
      F*ck Stratford!!!!

Always been a fan of JJ. But his biggest problem with the fans, is that he shows no passion for the shirt. He gives the impression he could be playing for any club that would pay his wages.
Come on JJ watch Gomes, Jamie, Daws, Ledley who show passion and respond to the fans.

      I agree with you pal.
Personally have never been a fan off JJ. It's not that he is a bad player, but just so inconsistent and shows absolutely no passion whatsoever.

JJ has too many games where he fails to make an impact. He is decent, but just not good enough to get us where we want to be in the next couple of seasons. I'd be happy to see O'Hara in the starting 11 as opposed to JJ. Of course, next season Bostock should be given a couple of starts.

Personally I wouldn't mind flogging him off to Pompey in exchange for Nico Krancjar, who can play down the left or even centrally.
