im fed up hearing things from players like "zokora gives rallying cry"
players shouldn't need a rallying cry to go out and earn £60,000 a week just to knock a ball about a pitch for 90 mins
i would give my right arm to go out and play for spurs and give my all for free never mind thousands of pounds
there are some players that are guilty and some aren't
GUILTY-
jenas
pavlyuchenko
bent
bale
bentley
ekotto
to a certain extent huddlestone
NOT GUILTY-
o'hara
woodgate
lennon
defoe
king
gomes
zokora
dawson
corluka
COME ON GUYS RALLY AROUND EACH OTHER, PLAY AS A TEAM AND MOST IMPORTANTLY PLAY FOR THE SHIRT!!!
( Click to show/hide )
Crikey woody get down to the training ground and kick some ass
Where is Modric in your list?)
And please DO NOT divid players into groups. They are all GUILTY including Harry.
I think its pretty accurate , you should watch the games , not the forum
Woody pretty much spot on but the rest have to hold their hands up too.
F*ck Stratford!!!!
And? Does this mean that others should do the same? Some of those guys are from abroad, and have never thought about spurs until the actual transfer. As soon as the game became commercial judging players from your such a point makes no sense whether you like it or not. The majority of player are just employees, exactly like you and me. I do like my job for example, but if someone would say I should work harder and payed less, just because he or she is "would give her right arm", I would be laughing the rest of the day
And by the way, is it always just black and white in your kingdom? You should be a judge![]()

So your quite happy with the level of effort that the squad is giving are you with the fact most are on 20k plus a week?
When were down mate beacuse half of the team couldnt give a toss please come back then with your liberal crap.
Were not 3rd from bottom because were unlucky like some of the spin merchants an here would have you beleive its a fact they arent giving their all for the club, you only had to watch the Newcastle, Wigan,Fulham, Stoke games ect ect to see this.
F*ck Stratford!!!!
Although I do not agree with this, the point made is the problem we have. These players simply don't care about Spurs, just themselves. If we were to get relegated they would just move on to new employers. The thing is in most walks of life 'employees' that don't perform get the sack!
It's not like in any club players give a flock about club. Henry was arsenal legend yet he moved to Barcelona.
Does anybody think Ronaldo gives a crap about Man utd.
Do you think gerrard would be in liverpool if they would finish midtable.
They are professionals, they are paid to do their job and a part of their job is to put effort. It doesn't need to be running all day long in gattuso style, but they do need to be sharp throughout the match. Now some players might be lazy (Jenas?), and then club should sell them if they aren't good enough.
I don't think it's the effort that spurs lack. They simply are not a team. They don't work as a team and they don't have the team attitude.
The point I'm trying to make is that it doesn't matter how many fans would give their right arm for the club. 1 or 1 000 000. They are professionals and they should give try their best even if they play in front of empty stadium week in, week out.
I completely agree (with the odd exception to the rule of course) with your comments about player loyalty.
"I don't think it's the effort that spurs lack. They simply are not a team. They don't work as a team and they don't have the team attitude" - That is absolutely spot on mate. It reminds me of all the stick the England players got when the team wasn't performing. People were complaining about how "lazy" the players were, how they didn't care enough about the badge.. Now of course, those claims have vanished, after a sucsessful run in qualification. Whenever a team starts playing badly it seems the players are deemed lazy or they are not passionate enough about the club, this is a fallacy, although its easy to see why fans jump to that conclusion.
The players can't identify with being a 9-5 worker, spending half a weeks wages to go and watch your side play, only to be rewarded with poor performance after poor performance, and if they could I'm sure they might try to at least make it look like they're working their balls off.
When results aren't going your way, as a fan, you go looking for answers. When things aren't going your way as a player, you're supposed to provide them - the trouble is, no ridiculous wage in the world is going to help with that.
You can add Bellamy to that list if DailyMail is true.
10 mil (rising to 13) for that 29 year old spud wont help us.
